1399 hadith found in 'The Book of Prayers (Kitab Al-Salat)' of Sahih Muslim.

1079 'A'isha reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said during his illness from which he never recovered: Allah cursed the Jews and the Christians that they took the graves of their prophets as mosques. She ('A'isha) reported: Had it not been so, his (Prophet's) grave would have been in an open place, but it could not be due to the fear that it may not be taken as a mosque. 1080 Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Let Allah destroy the Jews for they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. 1081 Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) said: Let there be curse of Allah upon the Jews and the Christians for they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. 1082 'A'isha and Abdullah reported: As the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him) was about to breathe his last, he drew his sheet upon his face and when he felt uneasy, he uncovered his face and said in that very state: Let there be curse upon the Jews and the Christians that they have taken the graves of their apostles as places of worship. He in fact warned (his men) against what they (the Jews and the Christians) did. 1083 Jundub reported: I heard from the Apostle of Allah (may peace be upon him) five days before his death and he said: I stand acquitted before Allah that I took any one of you as friend, for Allah has taken me as His friend, as he took Ibrahim as His friend. Had I taken any one of my Ummah as a friend, I would have taken Abu Bakr as a friend. Beware of those who preceded you and used to take the graves of their prophets and righteous men as places of worship, but you must not take graves as mosques; I forbid you to do that.

Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 173: Narrated 'Abdullah: The Prophet said, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar) and some men amongst you will be brought to me, and when I will try to hand them some water, they will be pulled away from me by force whereupon I will say, 'O Lord, my companions!' Then the Almighty will say, 'You do not know what they did after you left, they introduced new things into the religion after you.'

Volume 9, Book 88, Number 174: Narrated Sahl bin Sa'd: I heard the Prophet saying, "I am your predecessor at the Lake-Fount (Kauthar), and whoever will come to it, will drink from it, and whoever will drink from it, will never become thirsty after that. There will come to me some people whom I know and they know me, and then a barrier will be set up between me and them." Abu Sa'id AlKhudri added that the Prophet further said: "I will say those people are from me. It will be said, 'You do not know what changes and new things they did after you.' Then I will say, 'Far removed (from mercy), far removed (from mercy), those who changed (the religion) after me! "

Narrated by Imam Ahmad. It is reported that the Prophet said: "Of the things which I fear for my Ummah, the thing which I fear most is minor Shirk. Then he was asked about minor Shirk, and he said: "It is ar-riyaa." The Prophet informs us in this Hadith that he fears for us, and that what he fears most for us is minor Shirk. This shows how kind-hearted and compassionate the Prophet was towards his Ummah, and how concerned he was for their good: He knew the dangers of minor Shirk, how it can strongly manifest itself in the community, polluting the pure monotheism of the Muslims, especially since it can afflict them without them even knowing it. This is why the Prophet warned them to beware of it.

Benefits Derived From This Narration 1. Forbidding the detestable by one's own hand, even though the perpetrator may object. 2. That the use of threads and the like to protect from harm is an act of Shirk. 3. The obligation to reject the detestable. 4. The deep understanding of the Companions, and the breadth of their knowledge. 5. That Shirk is present amongst the people of this Ummah. 6. That the heart of a person may contain faith and Shirk at the same time.

Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim. It is authentically reported on the authority of Abu Basheer Al- Ansari (ra) that he was with the Messenger of Allah on one of his journeys when he sent a messenger to tell the people: "Let not any necklace of bowstring, or any other kind of necklace remain on the necks of your camels, except that it is cut off."

Abu Basheer Al-Ansari (ra) informs us that he accompanied the Messenger of Allah on a journey and he sent a messenger - Zaid Ibn Harithah (ra) - to order the people to cut the bowstrings from around the necks of their camels; this was because the people in the days of ignorance used to believe that it was a protection against al-'ain.

It is reported on the authority of Ibn Mas'ood (ra) that he said: "I heard the Messenger of Allah That ar-ruqi, at-tamaa`im and at- tiwalah Dawood)
4

say

are all forms of Shirk. (Narrated by Ahmad and Abu

Ibn Mas`ood (ra) informs us that the Prophet

said that ar-ruqi (which means spells and

incantations), at-tamaa`im (which are made from beads and such like and are hung around the necks of children), and at-tiwalah (which is a spell made to cause a husband to love his wife, or a wife to love her husband) are all forms of Shirk.

Abu Hurairah said, I heard the Prophet say, The Hour will not come until the buttocks of the women of Daws* move whist going around Dhu l-Khalasah. Dhu l-Khalasah was an idol worshipped by the tribe of Daws during the Jahiliyyah. (Hadith from Bukhari.) Dhi-al-Khalasa was the idol of the Daws tribe which they used to worship in the Pre Islamic Period of ignorance (Sahih Bukhari Volume 9, Book 88, Number 232)

I think the probable explanation is that "ummah as a majority won't fall into shirk but Prophet(sa) feared the majority of Ummah to go after the dunya". Another relevant hadith is that "during the end times the fitan will become so prevalent that a person will be momin in the morning and kaffir by the night"

"O people, save yourselves from shirk, for it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of the ant. Someone whom Allah willed (to speak) asked: 'How do we save ourselves from it while it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of the ant O Messenger of Allah?' He said: 'Say: O Allah we seek refuge in You from associating anything with You knowingly, and we seek Your forgiveness for what we do unknowingly.'" [Musnad Ahmad, 4/403 and others - classed as saheeh in 'Saheehal-Jaami',3/233(#2876)]

Here is the hadith you mentioned, but with some difference,

(( : : )) : ((:))
60/1)( )00/6( )404/4( ) Rasool Allah said: O people, save yourselves from this shirk for it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant. So someone, whon Allah willed to say, said: How do we save ourselves from it while it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant ya Rasool Allah? Rasoool Allah said: " Say: Ya Allah we take your refuge from doing shirk with you knowingly, and ask for your forgiveness for doing it unknowingly"

It has been narrated on the authority of Shaddad bin Aus (Radhiyallahu Anhu) that he was weeping one day. Thus, someone asked him as to why he was weeping. Upon this, he remarked that it is something I heard Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying; the memory of which makes me weep. He mentions that he heard Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) saying, I fear upon my ummah the lighter from of shirk and desire. He says that upon this I asked Rasulullah (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam), will your ummah ascribe partners to Allah Taala after you? Nabi (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) replied, Yes; they will not worship the sun or the moon or stones or idols, but they will do actions to please others

Clear Ahadith telling that some people of this community will commit Shirk Shaykh Salih Ale Shaykh wrote in his Hazihi Mafahimuna: It is narrated by Ahmad in his Musnad (5/275, 284), Abu Dawud in his Sunnan (4252), Ibn Majah (3952), Al-Hakim (4/449) and others from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The Hour will not come until some tribes of my community join the polytheists and until some tribes of my community worship the idols, these words are those of Ahmad and Abu Dawud and the Isnad is authentic according to standard of MuslimAlso Muslim narrated from Aishah in a Marfu way: The night and day will not disappear until Lat and Uza are worshiped

The Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam) said: By Allah! I am not afraid that you will worship others along with Allah after my death, but i am afraid that you will fight with one another for the worldly things volume 2, book 23, number 428: (Sahih Bukhari) The Correct Understanding of the HadithIbn Hajar Al Asqalani explained this narration in the following words: His saying that i am not afraid that you would commit shirk after me, means that i am not afraid that AL L OF YOU WOULD COMMIT SHIRK, BECAUSE SOME PEOPLE DID FALL INTO SHIRK, may Allah Protect us from that. This hadith contains miracles of the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam) and that is why Bukhari mentioned it in the Book of Signs of Prophethood. The hadith was also mentioned in Sahih Muslim and Imam Nawawi in his explanation of this hadith said: This hadith shows the miracles of the Prophet (sallalahu alayhi wa sallam): It gives news the his nation will possess the treasures of the earth, and this came to pass; that the Islamic nation [Ummah] WOULD NOT APOSTATE AS A WHOLE, and it [the Ummah] is saved from it by Allah, i.e. it [the Ummah] would compete [with each other in the pleasures ] in this world, and all of it came to pass Ibn Hajar gave a second explanation, he wrote in the chapter of Signs of Prophethood: He informed in this Hadith that he will be their predecessor at the Hawd, and this will occur as such, and that his companions will not commit Shirk after him, and this occurred as such, and he warned about competing for this world and this occurred, and this meaning has been mentioned in the Hadith of Amr ibn Awf in a Marfu way: I do not fear poverty for you, but I fear that this world will be presented for you as it was presented for those before you and the Hadith of Abu Said in the same meaning, and this occurred as well as they conquered many lands and the world spread for them in great quantity, and more will be mentioned about this in the chapters of heart softeners (Riqaq) Ibn Katheer pointed at this explanation in his exegesis of His (Taala) saying: This day, those who disbelieved have given up all hope of your religion (Al Maidah 5:3) Ibn Abbas said: they have lost hope that you will leave your religion, and similarly has b een said by Ata, AsSudi and Muqatil. He (ibn Katheer) said: And according to this came the authentic Hadith: Shaytan has indeed given up all hope that the Musaloon (praying people) will worship him in the Arabic peninsula Will shirk happen? Of course it will, take a look at this: It is narrated by Ahmad in his Musnad (5/275, 284), Abu Dawud in his Sunnan (4252), Ibn Majah (3952), Al Hakim (4/449) and others from Thawban that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said: The Hour will not come until some tribes of my community join the polytheists and until some tribes of my community worship the idols, these words are those of Ahmad and Abu Dawud and the Isnad is authentic according to standard of Muslim

Also Muslim narrated from Aishah in a Marfu way: The night and day will not disappear until Lat and Uza are worshiped Conclusion: Therefore it is your understanding of this hadith O Barailwees which is flawed because it deviates from the correct interpretation given by the noble scholars of the past. So please dont use this hadith as a smokescreen to hide behind because your actions of calling upon the dead are clear shirk that would make the hindus proud of themselves.
