Common Mistakes
1. Dont jump when introducing new suit! CHILL when you have many points. 2. Responders no trump bids do not promise balanced hand! 3. PASS at suitable contract when game is unattainable. 4. Prefer suited contract, it is ne to play without support. 2NT is not used to sign-off!

Special Cases

Minor Support
Only if: 1. No major suit to introduce 2. 5+ cards in the minor suit 3. Either 6- points or 10+ points, otherwise prefer 1NT Inverted minor raise: 2C: 10+ points, 3C: 6- points

Occurs when one makes a jump shift

E.g. 1C - 1D - 2H Promises: Extra values (16+ at lv 2, 18+ at lv 3) 5 cards in rst suit, 4 cards in second suit Why?
