and we are all here to help you in any way. As a member you have access to incredible resources 24/7. As a new business woman, of course you will have a lot of questions. The vast majority of answers will be found in either the Consultant Online Office (COO), on www.teampe.weebly.com (password: platinum2006) or from your Sponsor. This is a starter list of our MOST Frequently Asked Questions from new consultants. It is YOUR RESPONSIBILITY to research the answers to your questions before you post to Facebook or Message Boards. If you still cannot find it after searching, please feel free to post. We always want to hear about your successes BIG or SMALL! FB posts are moderated by Platinum Elite leaders. If the answer to a posted question can be found within these resources, a leader will send you a private message directing you where to find it.

Q. CAN MEN BE AT A PARTY OR ON THE PREMISES IF THEY ARE: GAY, TRANSGENDER, COME DRESSED AS A WOMEN, IN THE BASEMENT OR BEDROOM, ETC? A. NO MEN, NO CHILDREN UNDER 18, NO EXCEPTIONS even if you drove 4 hours for the party! This rule is in place for a multitude of reasons and you can be terminated if you violate it. If he has a penis, he may NOT be on the premises during your demo. Its anatomy, not sexual preference that applies here. You may do a private consultation and sell to men as long as you are simply answering questions about products, not doing a demo. If they will not leave then you should! For children No one under 18 includes babies, newborns, toddlers that dont understand what you are showing up to 17 year olds whose birthday is next week. The law is very clear. When you are perfectly clear that you will not do the show with men or kids present, this will not be an issue on party night. Q. WHAT IS AN ACTIVATION ORDER AND HOW CAN I PLACE ONE? A. When you purchased either the Bronze or Silver Kit, the buying discount is 35% until you place an activation order then the buying discount is upgraded to 40%. You can further increase your buying discount by building your team. Both the GOLD and PLATINUM kits have automatic activation. To become an active consultant you must place a $250 Retail order within your first 60 days. You can choose your own products at a 35% discount or purchase Booster Kits. The Demo Booster is designed to round out youre the products you show at your first party. It has a retail value over $335 but you buy it at 45% off. The Inventory Booster is designed to fill your bags with BEST SELLING STOCK and it is valued at over $542 but you get it at 45% off! You may get one or both Boosters any time in your first 60 days. Q. HOW MUCH AM I REQUIRED TO DO TO MAINTAIN MY BUSINESS? A. In order to stay an "active" consultant, you must place a $100 retail order every 60 days. That is the retail value before your buying discount. If you did not place an order in the last calendar month, you will need to place one in the current calendar month. If you do not have parties scheduled host a party at your home or gather outside orders to meet this requirement without dipping into your own pocket.

Q. WHAT IS THE FAST TRACK PROGRAM? A. Pure Romances Fast Track Program is designed to help put more money into your pocket. Reach $2,400 in personal Retail sales within 60 days of your Starter Kit purchase and youll receive $300 in Free Product. PLUS, reach those sales and sponsor a new Consultant during this time and receive an additional $300 in Free Product when she activates. Thats a total of $600 in Free Product by simply growing your business!

Q. A PRODUCT IS DEFECTIVE! WHAT DO I DO? A. Dont get upset, simply do some trouble shooting and provide good customer service. The #1 reason a customer will report an item as defective is because batteries were not inserted properly. Check that NEW brand name batteries are installed correctly & the cap is on properly. When truly defective, request an RMA. Replace the product for your client immediately (by trade if necessary) and replace your own stock/trade when your RMA is returned. Q. MY HOT HEART KEEPS RE-ACTIVATING AFTER IT IS BOILED! IS IT BROKEN? A. It is not defective. This happens when the heart is not boiled long enough at a high temp. Despite instructions printed on the heart, it can take up to 20 minutes to thoroughly boil it. It is important to be at a heavy rolling boil for a minimum of 10 minutes to fully reset the heart. When time elapses, remove from heat and let cool in the water/pan. A defective heart will leak at the seam, has a broken disc or remains in large chunky crystals after lengthy vigorous boiling. In only those cases RMA.

Q. I NEED A PRODUCT FAST! CAN I BUY IT FROM YOU? A. We are not permitted to purchase products from other consultants. We do have a huge resource of sisters that are more than happy to help you with a TRADE. When posting, start your post with INO (means In Need Of) your item, your location (we have members nationwide, dont assume the person answering lives anywhere near you) and when you will replace. Please trade responsibly. If you need 1 or 2 items; feel free to trade. But if you need a lot place an order, get the retail credit. Most clients have no problem waiting less than 2 weeks for their products. Trading protocol and etiquette: LIBRARIES > PR SISTER ETIQUETTE

Q. OMG!!! SQUARE CHARGED MY CLIENT 4 TIMES!!! SHES ANGRY - WHAT DO I DO NOW? A. Dont panic. The only time Square actually CHARGES the account is after your client signs and hits OK. When it moves to Receipt (where you put in phone or email) then its charged. If you get any error message before that signature - it has NOT been charged. The bank may show pending notifications that always disappear after 1 business day. It helps keep clients calm if you proactively inform them about pending notices. Error message: DECLINE: ZIP CODE OR CVV double check the billing zip & the CVV rub offs easily making it harder to see. Error message: DECLINE USE ANOTHER CARD means insufficient funds. Q. MY HOSTESS AND HER FRIENDS ARE SUPER CASUAL GIRLS, SO I CAN WEAR JEANS & FLIP FLOPS, RIGHT? A. At every party you do, you should Dress for Success as a professional business woman. Your hostess and her friends are there to party but you are there to WORK. Its important to remember the power of a great first impression. Your clothes should be neat and professional; studies show that simply wearing a blazer can increase your sales. Avoid foul language, personal stories, smoking and/or drinking alcohol at the party. Ban negativity from your attitude and exude confidence.

Q. SHIPPING, SHIPPING, SHIPPING! WHAT THE HECK?

A. CLIENT SHIPPING: We charge every order a flat fee of $6 for delivery. This helps cover our cost of shipping from corporate and to the client. When questioned, you can use the following wording: If you have it in stock I paid your shipping in advance to give you the convenience of taking it home tonight. This simply reimburses me those funds. If you need to send a client a backorder, This covers the shipping I pay to my corporate office to get the product to me, but as a courtesy, I don't charge extra to get the product to you. It is very important to charge the shipping fee with every order. You can make exceptions, since it is your business, but they should be rare.

A. CORPORATE SHIPPING: Minimum shipping is $19. Understand that no matter the size of your order $10 or $5,000 - PR must: Run an invoice, pay staff to pull your item, wrap it in paper, put it in a box, give a heartfelt SMILEY FACE, tape it up, add a shipping label, put it on UPS truck then PAY UPS. Try to combine orders (at least 3 will cover your cost). If you only need one item for one client, it is better to use the Message Boards or FB to ask for a trade. Q. WHICH CAME FIRST; THE TAXES OR THE DISCOUNTS? HOW DO I CALCULATE ORDERS? A. When totaling any order, you should add the full retail value of every single item ordered by & given to the client (RETAIL SUBTOTAL). Then add $6 shipping on every single order (see FAQ above). Then calculate the tax amount (use your home tax rate). Now you have the RETAIL TOTAL. Then subtract any discount given for sales, packages, hostess credit, free gifts, etc. **Check your state laws some allow tax on shipping, some do not.

Q. HOW ON EARTH DO I CALCULATE THE HOSTESS CREDIT? A. It may seem a little complicated at first, but once you do it a couple times, it will seem easy. The hostess gets 10% of the ELIGIBLE party sales in free products, a free gift and any additional credits or discounts you choose to offer. To calculate your eligible party sales, first add together the RETAIL SUBTOTAL of all party orders (including pre-orders) then SUBTRACT all discounts you gave to each customer (percentage off of an item, packages, free gifts). Do not include the tax and shipping you collected. It helps to keep a running total on the back of each order form (or a notepad) as you go. Once all guest have ordered, just add in the last order form for the total party sales. To calculate the Hostess order, follow the same pattern as every guest. Add the full retail value of every product she chooses. Then add shipping and calculate tax. Then add together: her 10% hostess credit, free gift and any discounts you offered her. This is her HOSTESS CREDIT TOTAL. Subtract that from the RETAIL TOTAL.
