The Christian Medical College has set really high standards in
providing medical education and facilities for research.
The CMC Hospital aims at providing personalized health care
particularly for the poor and needy.

CMC is situated in the town of Vellore, Tamil Nadu. It is

Coimbatore and Tirupathi. The college is set in a scenic campus
away from the hustle and bustle of the Vellore town while the
hospital is located in the heart of the town.

PEGASUS, is the annual inter-collegiate sports, culturals

and entertainment festival of CMC Vellore held every year in the
month of July. This annual grand cultural and sports
extravaganza brings together students from different regions of
the country and over the years it’s just gotten bigger!!

Over 100 colleges with students representing fields as

diverse as law, arts, science,fashion, engineering, IT and of
course medicine gather annually for Pegasus.
Some of the regular participants are: JIPMER, Ramachandra
Medical College, Mysore Medical College, IIT, NLS, VIT, Loyola,
Mahavir Jain, Mount Carmel, Jyothi Nivas, MCC and many
more.

The major sponsorship benefit would be increased corporate
brand awareness among the youth. It also includes image
enhancement derived from the media coverage and the
association with Pegasus and its events. There is also the facility
to use the sponsorship association in any or all the marketing
activities of the company.

Depending on type of sponsorship offered by the company the

following benefits can be achieved:
· Media Coverage
· Coverage on the website, e-mails, literature, print material
· Banners and display areas in the Pegasus area
· Airtime during Pegasus

Sponsorship for different events should include the various

establishment costs for maximum mutual benefits.

Depending on the sponsorship consideration of the company, the

general benefits and rights accorded to the sponsors can be
tailored to suit the sponsors' requirements.

Sponsorship for some of the items like equipment, etc can be

done in terms of kind if the organization has already existing
infrastructure in place.
EVENT SPONSOR:
This is the premier sponsorship designation available to a company. In
case we get an event sponsor, we will no longer take other sponsorships.
The company has to support the entire budget of Pegasus to call itself the
event sponsor.
· The festival will be named after the Event Sponsor, i.e., “CMC Vellore
and (Event Sponsor) present Pegasus 2009”.
· The company's name is incorporated as the official sponsor of the
event to be placed in all print terms (brochures, certificates, banners, etc.)
and used whenever reference is made of Pegasus (on air, on stage, and
every other reference).

TITLE SPONSOR:
This is the sponsorship design available to a company who is interested in
sponsoring one whole part of Pegasus and all the associated events.
The Title Sponsorships available are:
1. Hospitality
2. Culturals
3. Mediquiz
4. Sports
5. Entertainment
In this case the particular part of Pegasus will be tailored to suit
the title sponsor's needs and the title sponsor can approach and work with
the in charge of that part to convey their particular interests.

ASSOCIATE SPONSOR:
Companies contributing Rs.3,00,000 and above will be designated
as our associate sponsors. There can be many associate sponsors.
The company's name would be incorporated as an associate sponsor
of Pegasus.
THEME SPONSOR:
This package is for sponsoring whole events like Dance
Competition, Rock Show, Individual Literary, Cultural or Sports
Events, etc. The costs vary, and the advertisement would be
put on the individual day only (unlike the above two packages)
and mentioned in all references made in relation to the event
chosen. The costs vary depending on the event.

STALLS:
Sponsors interested in putting up stalls (incl. mess) can put up
stalls based on the rates discussed with the particular incharge
for the stalls. For e.g. – food stalls with mess in-charge,
etc…

The event title and associate sponsors will be allowed to make

small presentations in allotted timings to target the public in a
manner desired by the company in accordance with the Pegasus
Committee.
PARTNERSHIP OFFERS
The Partnership offers are for companies with existing
infrastructure to arrange for the given requirements.
In case a particular title/theme sponsorship is availed, that
company becomes the official partner.

MEDIA PARTNERS
This is for companies or networks willing to sponsor air-time or
media publicity for Pegasus in terms of
· Radio publicity - announcements and ads (Radio Partner)
· Television coverage, advertisements (TV Partner)
· Newspaper ads (Newsprint Partner)
· Magazine Articles and ads (Magazine Partner)

Other interested Organizations can become media partners by

· Organizing a daily magazine/newsletter for the main event
days within campus to be assisted by student reporters if necessary.
· Arrange for/ sponsor equipment to keep the various areas well
informed with the on-going news of Pegasus for e.g. with digital
sign boards, screens, etc

LITERATURE / PRINT PARTNER:

This is for sponsors all the literature and other printed material
related to Pegasus such as brochure, souvenir, booklets, tickets,
invites, posters, etc. The costs depend on the amount of
exposure achieved. Companies with already existing infrastructure
can sponsor the printing of various backgrounds, back drops,
posters and banners for the various events.
APPAREL PARTNERS:
The apparel sponsor of Pegasus 2009 gets to put their emblem on
all the uniforms for the teams and the t-shirts printed for sales in
Pegasus 2009. The design will be provided by the Pegasus
Organizing Committee.

GAMING PARTNER:
The gaming partner arranges for different gaming
equipment and prizes in Pegasus 2009 for normal gaming and
Online gaming competitions. Interested companies can arrange for
both Technology and Gaming for monopoly over the entire
technology scene in Pegasus 2009.

COMMUNICATION SPONSORS:
Interested companies can sponsor equipment for the organizing
committee from the early stages like inviting colleges, etc to
improve and innovate the approach style and broaden the
base of coverage of students.

TECHNOLOGY PARTNERS:
The technology partner of Pegasus 2009 arranges computers, and
other related equipment in:
- Jukebox
- Projection materials for different projections/shows/presentations
TRAVEL PARTNERS:
This offer is for companies/organizations willing to sponsor
transport of people and equipment from Chennai and Bangalore
to Vellore and back. Buses/Vans must be arranged within Vellore
on the main days of Pegasus for easy commuting of teams from
and to the Bus Stand/ Railway station and to transport to slightly
distant venues and for commuting heavy equipment like
instruments, etc within the Pegasus coverage area. The individual
details have to be worked out with the Pegasus Organizing
committee. Any interested companies can arrange for and sponsor
travel for the winning teams back to their place and provide travel
re-imbursement.

EQUIPMENT PARTNERS:
Companies sponsoring equipment or sponsoring the
establishment costs of various events will be considered as
equipment sponsors. The various types of offers are:
· Sports Equipment Sponsor – Arrange for all the sporting
equipment
ENERGY PARTNERS:
Any company interested in subsidizing food charges for the daily
mess of Pegasus 2009 is invited to provide sponsorship in the
form of cash/ kind which will help in subsidizing the cost of the
daily mess for all the sports persons.
The Energy partners of Pegasus 2009 can provide free drinks/eats
to various teams taking part in the competition depending on the
decision taken with the Pegasus Committee.

OTHER OFFERS:
Companies with already available infrastructure to arrange for any
of the other aspects of Pegasus which hasn't been mentioned
separately for e.g. Lighting for the various night competitions and
Pro Shows, or Any material for Accommodation, etc are invited to
please discuss your offers with any of the Organizing committee
or contacts involved Pegasus 2009.
Various modifications/ combinations can be made to suit the
individual sponsors' needs.
