As the meeting wrapped up, those present expressed the need for the community to begin seeing ourselves as the owners of this dream. This Co-op is OUR baby, said Sadie Blue. We have had a little help nursing it and rocking its cradle but its time that we all step up and help take care of OUR baby. The meeting adjourned with a very energized and optimistic crowd ready to continue the struggle to bring a democratically owned and run grocery store to our community!
HAZELS CITRUS PUNCH 1 cup sugar 1 quart pineapple juice 2 - 6 ounce cans or 1 - 12 ounce can orange juice concentrate with water added (per can instructions) 2 - 6 ounce cans or 1 - 12 ounce can lemonade concentrate with water added (per can instructions) Mix together above ingredients and freeze.
