E-Chem
E Chem is a program that allows students to build three-dimensional molecular models,
using a good selection of common non-metallic elements. Students can even select the
hybridization of the carbons, oxygens, etc. The program orients the atoms in accordance
with VSEPR rules. Once the molecule is constructed, the students can choose to view and
rotate it in one of several viewing modes, as well as to obtain estimates of several
physical properties.
