Necessity for computer based MIS

The magnitude of operations of NREGA throw large scale data, which is difficult to monitor without MIS. The Programme monitoring entails employment monitoring of each household. MIS is a Management tool MIS to track time-bound activities: throws alerts

How to operationalise MIS

Hardware requirement

Basic computer MIS is Browser independent: Internet Explorer, Mozilla or firefox can be used. Offline mode can operate on Open source-Linux or Windows For offline operation NREGASoft is to loaded At least two operators at Block level.

MIS performs the following critical functions:

Operational Details of IT Plan

The MIS structure and standard defined by MORD States free to develop their own MIS with interoperability and compatibility in perspective Gram Panchayat to be the basic unit for data base design, but data entry could be done at Block level Computerisation work of Block level could be outsourced
