Work in an investment team of four people responsible for investing a multi-million dollar fund, focused towards providing growth capital to private companies in Bangladesh. Build dynamic financial models to value companies and present valuations to the investment committee. Research private companies targeted for potential investments and write investment memos that are distributed to our foreign investors. Coordinate different types of due diligence involving legal, financial reporting, compliance and regulatory standards. Monitor financial progress of portfolio investments towards achieving targets involving financial metrics established at the inception of the deal. Worked in the investment team advising companies on raising capital from the stock market by analyzing client businesses and market environments. Performed business valuations for book building deals by using discounted cash flows and multiples to determine indicative fair prices for the offerings.
