Directors Note
The Apostle John, who was over80 years of age, knew through experience that God answers prayer, but he was al
so led to write, "And this is the confidence that we have in

Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He heareth us; and if we know that He hear us, whatsoever we
ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of
Him." 1 John 5:14-15.

A recent answer to prayer is red and white.

The Directors have picked up the vision of Bill Dykes, Larry Cuyler, Dr. Griffith and others, of a day in the immed iate future when there will be clinics within short flying distance of Sandia Chico. Landing strips that would take

days to reach by burro, or hours by driving by car.

Bill Dykes, Don Gordon, Don Schmiedt, Lloyd Heimer, Jim
Dobyns, Dr. Griffith and N7285M

Bill Dykes had commented, "Somewhere there's a plane with the keys in it, no need to worry God knows where it is, all we need to worry about is a place to park it," And
he prayed.

To Our Friends
During the past yeai we have been blessed beyond
measure through old friends and with the acquaintance of many new friends. We have been encouraged with the re
sponse to the proposed medical work in Mexico.

Dr. Griffith, on his way to the fourth Annual Faith-

Promise Rally conducted by the Christian Church of Holyoke, Colorado, also prayed. He didn't pray foi a plane, al
though he has flown hundreds of hours and has a commer cial license but for an indication that what he and his fam

ily was planning to do was truly the will of God.

As we look forward to 1971 we anticipate seeing great things accomplished for Christ, the King. We want to thank those who have already helped in various ways to accom

for sale for a year. Ignorant of the above prayers they de termined to donate the plane to the work of the Good Shep herd in Mexico. Through the years they have been willing
to be used by God; God has now used them to answer prayers in a physical way. He has no hands but our hands. The plane, N7285M is red and white.

the project to the Greenville Church in Santa Ana. Bill then plans to meet them in Monterrey, Mexico, the fifth of

DIRECTOR'S NOTE
"For I will pour water on him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: 1 will pour my spirit upon thy seed and my blessing upon thine offspring." Isaiah 44:3. We have been strengthened by letters from the Schmiedts since they arrived at Sandia Chico. We would like to share with you portions from these letters. The above promise to Jacob comes to our attention as we see things unfold in Mexico. An increased food supply will be critical to the medical work which is planned.
Dillard R. Griffith M.D.

A portion of the irrigation project at Sondia Chico

We arrived in Sandia Chico, Saturday, the 6lh of Feb ruary. Have been quite busy since we arrived. Joy has helped with several deliveries and many sick children. The need for a hospital and more trained medical help is tremendous. Trying to care for these people with such limited supplies is very frustrating. The Mexican people are very eager to learn about God, and liow to care for themselves. They are a very hard working people. How they can makealiving in this desolate place isbeyond me.

The witchdoctors won't lielp her because if he gets too many deaths on his records it will look bad for him. She gave us a scare also. Garnet and I sat up with her all one night.
