Therefore, by virtue of and pursuant to the power vested in the Connecticut


State Board of Labor Rela'tions by the Act Concerning Collective Eargaining for
State Fmployees, it is hereby
CERTIFIED, that the Protective Services Employees Coalition, IUPA/IAFF,
AFL-CIO has been designated as the representative for the purposes of collec-
tive barqaining by a majority of Protective Services employees (Unit W-5)
in the classifications described on the attach&l list, mployed by the Sta.t.c
of Connecticut, and that said Protective Senices Bxployees Coalition, IWA/IAFF,
AFL-CIO is the exclusive representative of all said enployecs for the purple of
collective bargaining with respect to wdcjes, kmnrs and other conditions of
employment. This designation is to take effect as follows: (1) forthwith,
for the purpose of negotiating a successor to the existing contract covering
said mployees; (2) frcxn and after July 1, 1.981. for a13 other purposes inch+
ing the collection of union dues.
