OPEN PUBLIC MEETING STATEMENT: This meeting is being held in conformity to the Open Public Meetings Act N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et. seq. Proper public notice of the meeting was published in the local papers on August 17 and August 18, 2013. If any Board member or member of the public in attendance believes that the meeting is in violation of the Open Public Meetings Act, the Hoboken Board of Education requests that they make a statement at this time. The Board wishes to make those in attendance aware that this meeting is being recorded on video and will be broadcast by the Board at a later date on CATV Channel 77 and Fios Channel 46. RESOLUTION NO. FI-09-0820-13-14 SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF ARCHITECT OF RECORD

RESOLVED, that the Hoboken Board of Education approves a contract renewal for the professional services of Mount Vernon Group Architects, Inc., Newark, New Jersey as Architect of Record for the Hoboken School District for the 2013-2014 school year in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00. NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this professional service contract was originally procured through a fair and open process pursuant to P.L. 2005, c.271, for the period beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013 to Mount Vernon Group Architects, Inc., Newark, New Jersey at the rates set forth in the Statement of Qualifications, but not to exceed $75,000 except as expressly authorized by the Board through a subsequent duly adopted resolution.
