The Lethiguel immersion heater is an electrical heating system, specially designed for the heating of molten aluminium. It is intended to be directly immersed into the liquid

metal.
The thermal power is brought directly at the heart of the

molten metal through conduction.

Technical characteristics
The immersion heaters are composed of two technical products united in one final device: A Silicon Nitride (Si3N4) sheath with the following technical qualities:
no sensitivity to thermal shocks good mechanical resistance good thermal conductivity excellent resistance to corrosion A high watt density electrical heating resistance: embedded in a highly performing isolating material, which provides both electrical isolation and heat transfer.
