CPS-3 will help researchers better understand the lifestyle, genetic and environmental factors that may cause or prevent cancer. During the weeks of September 21 - October 3, 2013, the opportunity to enroll in CPS-3 in Northern Virginia will be made possible in partnership with Burke Presbyterian Church, Fairfax County Health Department, New Life Christian Church, Reston Hospital Center, South County Health Center and The Vienna Community Center. Individuals may choose to participate if they are between 30 and 65 years old, have never been diagnosed with cancer, and are willing to make a long-term commitment to the study (which involves completing follow-up surveys periodically over the next 20-30 years).
