Procedure
30 Listen to different types of music (you-tube videos E4.2.1-7) and SS number them as they listen. If you feel they are too long, stop half way. (First two columns of Task A) If your class is advanced elementary, you can ask them to associate adjectives with the music. (column 3 Task A). Write the following words on the board: relaxed, sad, happy, awake, sleepy, thoughtful, scared Replay the music and stop after each one and ask: How do you feel when you listen to this?

(Task B) -Students match pictures with the descriptions Also ensure SS know: insult, popular, famous, recently, publicly, traditional, enjoy, award Students get three pictures and match the pictures with the text. (Task C)

Students correct punctuation errors in the text. (Capitalization and full stops). Students fill gaps with the words on the worksheet.: (Task D) Introduction to verbs: Reread the text and underline all the past tense verbs. Write the past tense form of the verbs on the worksheet. (Task E) Gap fill about a famous Lebanese singer called NANCY AJRAM. Ask the students to guess who she is and write her name in the first gap. Before break, tell the students they will be writing about their favourite musician / singer after the break. They can download music to play in class after break. Play any music the Ss downloaded and discuss what music and artists they like. Task F - Have students write about their favourite artist. Tic-Tac-Toe: Cut one or two of the worksheets done today, into slips, with one question on each. Use these as game cards. Split the class into two groups. Ss play tic-tac-toe. They have to answer the question on the slip correctly (also the pronunciation and spelling of the target word), in order
