PHASE :1 The main purpose is to have the ability to create E-TREE services for aggregation sites , for the 1819 SYNC service. This will enable the aggregation port (UNI-SYNC port) to send the same v-lan 1819 to multipoints ( UNI and NNI ports) E-tree services are point-to-multipoint services that are
used to provide IPTV and similar multicast services

The Hub must have the 5.0 software for the above to be possible, please the procedure below if hub is not upgraded.

Upgrading Procedure
Step Task Select one user of the FTP server and copy the new system software image directly from the CD to the FTP home directory of the user. If this is not possible, copy the system software image from the CD to a directory from which the FTP server allows file transfers Verify that the FTP server software is running on the host computer and that the correct software file is loaded Log in to the device connecting by telnet Download the software onto the FPH x200 device.
ftp get image server-ip <server_ip> filename <filename> login <login> password <password> [account <account>] [cd-dir <dir>]

Command

all the command in a single line where:

<server_IP>

The IP address of the FTP server in the format A.B.C.D. The name of the software image file on the remote server. The file name can contain up to 50 characters.

<filename>

For more information, see the example Download the software to the inactive image bank. 5 The system will download the software file and unpack it into the inactive image bank This could take some minutes, depending of the load of the network between the FTP server and the FPH A2200 Verify that the inactive bank contains the new software version. Toggle the active software bank. Reboot the device with the new software. Log in to the device connecting by telnet After the reboot, verify that the active bank contains the new software version.
