Essential: BE / B.Tech and ME / M.Tech. in relevant branch with First Class or equivalent either in BE / B.Tech or ME / M.Tech. Specialization in PG in following field is preferred CSE: Image Processing / Artificial Intelligence

CE: Structure / Transportation / Geotech / Infrastructure Design & Management Essential qualification Essential: for Assistant Professors in (a) Good Academic record with atleast 55% marks OR an Mathematics / Physics / equivalent CGPA at the masters degree level, in the relevant English subject from an Indian University OR an equivalent degree from Foreign University. Besides fulfilling the above qualification, candidate should have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) for lecturers conducted by UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC OR (b) Good Academic record with atleast 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA at the Masters level and Ph.D. degree in the relevant subject. Desirable: 5 years experience in teaching and or research excluding the period of spent for obtaining the degree and has made some mark in the area of scholarship as evidenced by quality of publication, contribution to the educational innovation, design of new courses & curricula. OR (c) First Class Masters Degree in appropriate branch for teaching post in Humanities & Science with 4 years experience in teaching and or research, excluding the period spent for obtaining the degree and has made some mark in the area of research as evidenced by quality of publication, contribution to the educational innovation, design of new courses & curricula etc. The interested eligible candidates (including retired personnel) may submit their application forms along with copies of their testimonials in the prescribed proforma to the Member Secretary, SOVTECH, BRAIT Campus, Pahargaon, Port Blair-744103 so as to reach latest by 31st August, 2011 at 5.00 PM.
