Nominal and Ordinal Scale Data


QualitaIve: Type, Make of a car (Nominal) RaIngs (Ordinal) DeniIons: Nominal: Simply allocaIon into disInct categories, not measured or ordered Sex, Color, NaIonality Ordinal: Classied based on whether they have more or less of a characterisIc. These categories have a logical ordering between them Income Group, Rate a course etc.
