Due to family commitments Cliff Jones was unable to convene a meeting during the month of June; consequently the Exeter & District Branch of the British National Party held a meeting at The Twisted Oak, Ide, near Exeter on Wednesday 10th July 2013, which commenced at 19.30 hours. The pub is now run be Chinese immigrants so any reference to the BNP was prohibited, with the meeting being held under the name of the Drakes Drum Forum. What follows are details of topics discussed at the forum:

Announcements
Cliff pointed out that over the past six weeks he had distributed some 500 leaflets around Newton Abbot. These were old leaflets dating back to 2010; but Cliff felt that it was better to put them into folks letter-boxes than to throw them away. Cliff issued details of the Exeter accounts for the past two years. The balance in the Exeter account held by the BNP treasurer James Mole shows 494.23 in credit. However, this money is only available for major campaign funding, so is not readily available for the every-day running expenses of the branch. The branch cash-book shows a credit of just 2.14; but in reality the branch has debts of 240.00 due to the need to print leaflets for Chris Stones recent election campaign. Adrian Romilly announced that he had recently held two table-top sessions in Liskeard and Plympton in the hope of attracting new blood into the Party. In both instances they were generally well received with no noticeable hostility. The only sign of an anti-BNP stance occurred in Plympton when a white Moslem convert approached the table and ranted on about the BNP being an anti-Islamic organisation. On both occasions there were only two members present at each table-top session Adrian felt that a minimum of three people in attendance is essential for effectively communication with the general public.
Adrian went on to say that on 13th July he will be attending an event at the Barn Theatre in Dartington Hall, with a talk being given by David Goodhart the editor of Prospect magazine. At the last such event there were some 400 people in attendance. Adrian thought that if enough BNP members were to attend these functions, then it could have a positive influence on the debate that follows the talk.

Adrian felt that the BNP should be more active in getting its members on the committees of the local Co-operative movement. He said that most active members are ordinary people; but it only takes a few left-wing activists in the organization to control its policy and political affiliations. More BNP members

on these committees can change the Co-operative movement policies. Below is a copy of a leaflet produced by the Co-op that promotes their community activities so if you want to get involved, give them a telephone call.

Adrian commented that he had read the Safer Devon Partnership booklet in detail and was amazed at the sheer number of ethnic organizations that were being sponsored by the Devon tax-payer. He went on to say that he had sent a letter to Councillor Saunders of Devon County Council concerning this matter, and is awaiting a reply.

Future Activism
Adrian thought that during the summer months we should hold more table-top sessions to meet with the public. Cliff said that he will send out E-mails to all local members with a request that they contact Adrian if they want to get involved. No progress has yet been made on Chris Stones suggestion that we set up a table-top at the Exeter Sunday Market. It was, also, noted that both Newton Abbot and Haldon race courses hold car-boot sales. Cliff said that he will reconnoitre all of these locations so that he can make a decision as to which is the best option for a car-boot sale. It was suggested that we find things to sell at the car-boot sale to raise funds for the branch.

It was noted that most traders attend the Exeter Market event in the morning, and the go to Haldon Race Course in the afternoon. The proposed debate of the Drakes Drum Forum at the Whipton Social Club was discussed, and as Chris Stone was not at the meeting it was not possible to ascertain the cost of hiring the room for such an event. Adrian suggested that instead of going to great lengths in organising such an event with no guarantee that the general public will turn up would it not be better to infiltrate other debating societies and get our message across by asking intelligent and challenging questions? Roger Bennett pointed out that the Daily Telegraph is the best on-line newspaper in which to get your comments on a current article published. He said that he had recently commented on numerous Daily Telegraph articles, and in all cases his comments had been published on-line; in two cases his comments had achieved the best approval rating. Roger thought that this is a form of activism that we should be doing more often. Cliff pointed out that when ever he had sent in a comment concerning a newspaper article, any mention of the BNP seems to automatically filter it out for publication as an identical comment with reference to the BNP being replaced with UKIP gets published, especially in the Daily Mail.

Any Other Business

Trevor Edwards expressed his view that we should now be putting in place arrangements for the next BNP AGM. Last year everything was done at the last minute with no planning put in place for the sharing of transport costs. When details of the AGM are known, we should plan to send at least four members to it.

4 Group Discussion: Social Mobility has it stalled?
Cliff opened the discussion with a brief history of social mobility from the Feudal Age, when the advancement of the peasantry to the higher echelons of society was practically impossible (although some people did achieve it); through to 1959 when social mobility reached its peak before its current decline. Cliff posed the first question: What is Social Mobility?
Answers from those in attendance could be summed up as being: The ability of a person from the most humble of backgrounds to rise to the higher echelons of society through sheer ability and merit; free from the constraints of class distinction and social discrimination.

Cliff went on to say: It is said that Social Mobility was at its greatest in the 1959-60 period why should that be?
Joe Randall said that the war years were terrible, but people pulled together and those with ability were recognized as such and promoted accordingly. People had a better work-ethic and did not expect free housing or welfare hands outs. It was mentioned that the church was still very influential within society, so people had higher moral values and worked together within cohesive communities. People tried to better themselves with part-time evening classes, and in most cases good employers were only too willing to encourage and promote these self-improvers. It was pointed out that Britain was still an industrial nation with most work being of high skill and intellect; unlike todays low skill and low intellect economy.

Cliff then proceeded to ask how the following topics have affected Social Mobility since 1959: Moral Decline and Lack of Christian values!
Roger Bennett pointed out that his great niece knows nothing of the Lords Prayer, the National Anthem or even the capital of London. There are no longer morning assemblies with Christian worship where hymns are sung, as it may offend the ethnic minorities whose wellbeing takes precedence over indigenous children. It was mentioned that children seem to have no idea as to what is right and what is wrong. It seems that people are afraid to teach their off-spring moral values, as it may conflict with their human rights. By not setting boundaries as to what is permissible and what is wrong, the parent(s) are doing their children no favours as in later life they are found to be lacking in life-skills and are essentially unemployable. Furthermore, it was pointed out that with welfare being so generous there is no incentive for youngsters (mainly girls) to better themselves as the state provides all their needs who needs a husband?

Education!
It was generally felt that the current education system is not fit for purpose; with a complete lack of discipline and a curriculum that is based on politically-correct dogma rather than preparing our youngsters to become the model citizens of the future. Too much emphasis is placed on university education; when in reality more should be spent on apprenticeships, on-the-job professional training and part-time professional study like the Higher National Certificate of the 1960s. However, it was noted that with Britains industrial decline there are now very few opportunities for apprenticeships of the quality that prevailed up to the 1960s.

Industrial Decline!
There is no doubt that Britains industrial decline has resulted in a massive decline in social mobility, especially in the highly intellectually demanding jobs in R&D (Research & Development); with many highly 4

qualified engineers and scientists now doing less demanding jobs in teaching or other service industry type employment alternatively they emigrate.

Cultural Decline!
It was noted that Britains cultural decline can be linked directly to mass immigration. Once we had popular songs with tuneful melodies and wholesome lyrics; now we get talentless guitar twanging imbeciles yelling obscenities into an over-amplified micro-phone. The politically-correct classes tell us that this obscene rap music is cultural enrichment. Even our cultural heritage is being trashed, with the BBC portraying Nancy in Oliver Twist as a Negro. Is it any wonder our children are confused; as they are continually fed a diet of lies and distortions about Britains rich cultural heritage.

Mass Immigration!
It was generally agreed that mass immigration has been the greatest tragedy that has ever been inflicted on Britain. It has caused housing shortages with the result that house prices in Devon are now 9 times the average local wage. This has clearly had a great effect on social mobility as it now becomes impossible for a low wage-earner to re-locate to where the jobs are; even renting is now prohibitively expensive. Because of high house prices and rents, only the very wealthy are in a position to seek work in any location throughout the UK. It was pointed out that without mass immigration we wouldnt have the need for a race relations industry that finds ways of criminalizing the indigenous population so as to appease the immigrant and islamic communities.

Positive Discrimination and Affirmative Action!

It was noted that TV is full of ethnics in lead positions, in fact to see a white male is now such a rare event one often wonders if he was appointed because hes a sodomite! Cliff said that he had previously sent a Freedom of Information request to the Crown Prosecution Service, and unsurprisingly it revealed that some 20% of their employees were from ethnic minorities a clear case of positive discrimination. It was pointed out that the adverts on TV are showing more enthics, in particular a Negro with a white blonde pregnant wife (Halifax). This is a case of the brainwashing of our young girls such that it is seen as cool to have a Negro boyfriend; regardless as to the damage this miscegenation does to the intellectual strength of the nation.

Cliff then went on to close the discussion with the final question: What can be done to regenerate Social Mobility especially for white hetero-sexual males?
It was generally agreed that white hetero-sexual males were the main losers in social mobility under the present political system, and that improvement can only happen if the indigenous population stand up for themselves as the Islamic immigrants do. It was agreed that only a BNP government would have the strength of their convictions to implement the necessary legislation, such as a policy of repatriation, more stringent border controls and the repeal of all race relations legislation. Of course the first problem to be overcome is to get out of the EU.

It is Cliffs intention to write a full 12 page article of this topic for inclusion in the August Newsletter.

5 Conclusion of Meeting
After a lively and enjoyable discussion the meeting finished at 9:30pm. A collection raised 53.00 for our funds. The date for the next meeting has not been confirmed, but is most likely to be on the last Wednesday in August; Cliff will advise later. Although Cliff had booked tables in the Twisted Oaks conservatory for the meeting, the new management had failed to make the necessary arrangements, consequently the meeting had to be conducted on an informal basis.

Please, bloody please, stop printing this newsletter in stupid colours! Blue and/or lilac on white! Some of us no longer have such powerful eyesight as the younger members, for hells sake publish with black (Preferably BOLD) on white, then we can read it without the aid of glasses and a magnifying glass! Why the hell must you make things so awkward? Cut out the style crap and any PC tendencies. Since the war, our lot has been one of relentless decline.
In reply to the letters from C Richey and J Woodhall (WMN May 16), I will confine my expose of Churchill's career to the events between the Munich crisis of 1938 and the Yalta conference of 1945. The late 1930s were grim years for Churchill. He was unpopular with the public and out in the political wilderness. He was no longer able to sustain his extravagant lifestyle and, his stockbroker threatened to bankrupt him. At this point salvation came when Israel Moses Seiff invited him to become the gentile leader of the Anti Nazi League, a position Churchill accepted with alacrity, and his financial situation was turned around when Heinrich Strakosch paid off the 18,500 worth of debts he had run up. Another extremely rich and influential figure in his life was Bernard Baruch who acted as go-between when he was making deals with Roosevelt behind Chamberlain's back. 6

It should be remembered that the Germans did not attack us, we attacked them. Their armed forces were geared to fighting a ground war in Europe, they had not developed the strategic and amphibious capabilities that would be necessary to fight a successful war against the British Empire, so it was not for military reasons that we went to war. As the Poles soon found out our "guarantee of their independence" proved worthless as was our entente with France. Few remember now that when France was on the point of collapse Churchill wanted Britain and France to be regarded as one country! His worst act of all came in August 1940 when, accepting the fact that Britain hadn't the resources to sustain the war, he placed our future in the hands of the presidents of the United States. From that moment, the fate of Britain and its Empire was sealed. Roosevelt's terms were harsh. We had to give the US all our gold and dollar reserve and liquefy all our assets in North America, the proceeds going to the US Treasury. We were forced to reveal all our military, industrial, commercial and diplomatic secrets which Churchill agreed to without a murmur. At home, Churchill disregarded all our ancient freedoms by prolonging the life of Parliament, incarcerating his political opponents in prisons and concentration camps without charge, trial or term set and delayed justice to suit his own ends as in the case of Tyler Kent. He also broke the rules of warfare and the Geneva Convention by ordering the bombing of purely civilian targets in order to provoke retaliation which happened when an RAF raid killed a number of children. We had to endure the Blitz and the Germans had to endure the area bombing of working class districts which led to a frightful loss of lives, including thousands of RAF men, all of little avail in a military sense as German morale was not broken. Britain emerged from the war defeated, demoralised, brainwashed and indoctrinated. Our lot is now one of relentless decline.

Woolwich UAF Intimidation At BNP Demonstration

The BNP held a demonstration in London to high-light the threat to our nation due to the influx of Islamic immigrants. The extremist left-wing organisation Unite Against Fascism attacked peaceful BNP demonstrators those BNP members present did nothing to provoke this attack. Numerous Newletter readers have written the following letters to Sky News complaining about the biased reporting.
Dear Sir, I believe your coverage of the above should have made it clear to viewers that the threatening and disorderly behaviour originated with the UAF and not the British National Party; is the fact that the UAF has our Prime Minister as one of its patrons the explanation for this unsympathetic coverage of the British National Party? The UAF is little more than a state sponsored enforcer of establishment attitudes. To retain the confidence of Sky viewers a less partisan approach would be desirable in future. Dear Sir or Madam I saw your reporting of the BNP demonstration at Woolwich today, June 01 2013. Your reporter, a Scotsman, took an aggressive and biased attitude against the BNP spokesman which is totally unacceptable. If Sky cannot report news in a totally unbiased manner you have no right to broadcast news at all. Hundreds of thousands of British citizens support the demonstration against the enemies we have within our borders. The BNP polled one million votes in 2009 in the General Election. I was not at the demonstration personally, but would have been if circumstances had allowed. The BBC is and has been left wing biased which is being reviewed after the many complaints received. It really is pathetic, and insulting to your viewers to show news items that are blatantly biased. I'm referring to your reporting of the pro Army rally that took place in Woolwich. OK so it was organised by the BNP, but that doesn't mean all those there were members. It may be 'fashionable' in 'luvvie' circles to ridicule the indigenous peoples of Britain, but out here in the real world, the story is very different! Male Sensitivity
The room was full of pregnant women with their husbands. The instructor said, "Ladies, remember that exercise is good for you. Walking is especially beneficial. It strengthens the pelvic muscles and will make delivery that much easier. Just pace yourself, make plenty of stops and try to stay on a soft surface like grass or a path." The instructor continues, "Gentlemen, remember - you're in this together. It wouldn't hurt you to go walking with her. In fact, that shared experience would be good for you both." The room suddenly became very quiet as the men absorbed this piece of information. After a few moments a man, name unknown, at the back of the room, slowly raised his hand. "Yes?" said the instructor. "I was just wondering if it would be all right if she carries a golf bag while we walk?" Brings a tear to your eye doesn't it? This kind of sensitivity just can't be taught.

The Fatal Fallacies and Foibles of Race

Adrian Romilly sent me the following book review by the critic Edward Cline. The book under review is entitled Intellectuals and Race, written by Thomas Sowell. As you can see from his picture, Sowell is a non-white American probably of Anglo-Indian extraction if a white European had written the book, it is very doubtful that it would ever get published.

With the calm, objective, and nearly disinterested panache he is noted for, in Intellectuals and Race Thomas Sowell dissects a broad range of fallacies that have surrounded the touchy and often contentious subject of race. In this latest volume he doesn't miss a trick, and covers as succinctly as possible the whole gamut of why minorities over the ages - and not just blacks, but Malays, poor whites in Britain, Jews, Arabs, and other ethnic and sub-cultural groups - have shown little evidence of making progress in the 20th and 21st centuries in terms of standards of living, cultural assimilation, literacy, and so on, while others have sped ahead of other groups. Sowell discusses two main schools of thought that have tried to explain and justify the phenomena, and why both have simply exacerbated, perpetuated, and even created the problems. In the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the Progressives in the U.S. patronized blacks, Jews, and Southern and Eastern Europeans immigrating to the U.S. as groups that had to be taken care of, even though many Progressives believed that, because of their genetic makeup or their native intelligence, no measurable improvement could be made by these groups on their own. They were seen as innately or genetically incapable of rising to the intellectual, cultural and moral standards of the country they lived in or came to. Many writers of the early Progressive period advocated laws that would prohibit the immigration of races or groups who were claimed to be morally degenerate, congenitally diseased or nearly subhuman. Statistical studies abounded with findings that attempted to scientifically correlate the causes of the lack of improvement among these groups; but Sowell lays down the law early on. Intellectuals on opposite ends of the spectrum in different eras have been similar in another way: Both have tended to ignore the long-standing warning from statisticians that correlation is not causation. In short, the numbers, percentages and proportions are a consequence of other factors, and not their a priori cause . Racial friction, discrimination, and exclusionary policies enforced by a majority may cause some minorities to fail and others to advance in terms of employment, literacy, and economic comfort. Conversely, majorities can be the victim of racial friction, discrimination, and exclusionary policies if a minority is bestowed political power through venal and manipulative politicians and governments (e.g., affirmative action policies). The ultimate responsibility for the causes of crime, immorality, irrationality, low intelligence and other deleterious consequences, Sowell points out, is the individual, who can allow himself to be influenced by external and internal factors. Several writers (or intellectuals) advocated the sterilization of blacks, Jews, and Slavs (eugenics) to protect the "race" from being dragged down to the levels that would cause crime, anarchy and the dissolution of civilization. Most of these studies premised their findings, conclusions and recommendations on genetic or racial determinism. In Britain, as in the United States, leaders and supporters of the eugenics movement included people on the left, such as John Maynard Keynes, who helped to create the Cambridge Eugenics Society, as well as H.G. Wells, George Bernard Shaw, Harold Laski, Sidney Webb and Julian Huxley. Sidney Webb said, "as a nation we are breeding largely from our inferior stocks."

Sowell writes about one leading American Progressive intellectual. Another prominent contemporary economist, Richard T. Ely, one of the founders of the American Economic Association, was similarly dismissive of blacks, saying that they "are for the most part grown-up children, and should be treated as such." Professor Ely was also concerned about classes that he considered inferior: "We must give to the most hopeless classes left behind in our social progress custodial care with the highest possible development and with segregation of sexes and confinement to prevent reproduction." Ely, continues Sowell, was typical among Progressives in his politics. Richard T. Ely was not only a Progressive...he espoused the kinds of ideas that defined the Progressive era, years before that era began. He rejected free market economics and saw government power as something to be applied "to the amelioration of the conditions under which people live or work." Far from seeing government intervention as a reduction of freedom, he redefined freedom, so that the regulation by the power of the state of these industrial and other social relations existing among men is a condition of freedom. While state action might lessen the amount of theoretical liberty it would increase control over nature in the individual, and promote the growth of practical liberty. Sound familiar? Yesterday's Progressives are today's liberals, socialists, and wannabe tyrants. Increased and increasing control over the individual, regardless of a person's race or ethnic origins, has been the dominant trend in politics in the 20th and 21st centuries. Sowell devotes particular attention also Madison Grant, a wealthy Progressive conservationist and author of a popular bookThe Passing of the Great Race (1916), in which he discussed the origins and geographical distribution of the "Teutonic Nordics" and predicted their submersion by the presumably less morally inclined and slothful "Alpine" and the "Mediterraneans." His book became Adolph Hitler's Bible. Despite its international influence, The Passing of the Great Race offered extremely little evidence for its sweeping conclusions. The great bulk of the book was a historical account of Alpine, Mediterranean and Nordic peoples in Europe and of the Aryan languages. Yet most of Madison Grant's sweeping conclusions and the policies he recommended were about America - about the "inferior races among our immigrants," about the need for eugenics and for laws against miscegenation. He asserted that Negroes have demonstrated throughout recorded time that they are a stationary species and that they do not possess the potentiality of progress or initiative from within. Sowell delves into the political responsibility for much of the dissension and strife between "minorities," in politics, and in the culture at large. The later Progressive movement eventually abandoned "genetics" as an explanation for minority stagnation and concocted the necessity for "equality" of results as the only solution, blaming a group's social or economic environment for the endemic problems. A much more common pattern has been one in which the intelligentsia have demanded an equality of economic outcomes and of social recognition, irrespective of the skills, behaviour or performance of the group to which they belong or on whose behalf they spoke....Seldom are any of these assertions backed up by empirical evidence or logical analysis that would make them anything more than arbitrary assertions that happen to be in vogue among contemporary intellectual elites. Although Sowell does not specifically attribute the conflicts between majorities and minorities to a manifestation of collectivism or tribalism, that is what he discusses throughout his book. In citing the growing power of ethnic identities throughout Europe, he describes, for example, the artificial conflict between Czechs and Germans. A very similar process occurred in the Hapsburg Empire, where the Germans in Bohemia were an educated elite and where Czechs there who wanted to rise into that elite could do so by acquiring the German language and culture. But a new Czech intelligentsia ...promoted Czech cultural nationalism. Czech nationalists, for example, insisted that street signs in Prague, which had been in both Czech and German, henceforth be exclusively in Czech... Symbolism - including intolerance toward other people's symbols - has often marked the efforts of ethnic intelligentsia. Moreover, Sowell notes that; in various periods of history, the intelligentsia in general and newly educated people in particular have inflamed group against group, promoting discriminatory policies and/or physical violence in such disparate countries as India, Hungary, Nigeria, Kazakhstan, Romania, Sri Lanka, Canada, and Czechoslovakia. Islam is not discussed by Sowell in his book, but we can observe the political clout wielded by minority Muslims and their advocacy groups in Britain, Europe, Canada, and the U.S., in which this minority has succeeded in requiring that the majority accede to and conform to their frankly primitive beliefs and sub-culture, that non-Muslims adapt to Islamic mores and practices, and not Muslims adapt to the largely secular culture to which they have immigrated. Sowell discusses at length the fact that blacks in the late 19th and early 20th century, especially those who had generational roots in Northern urban centres of the U.S., did not experience much discrimination, lived in mixed race neighbourhoods without friction, attained middle and upper-class economic and social levels, and, academically, often scored better than whites in test scores and did just as well as whites in schools. Moreover, when black immigration from the South began in the early 20th century to these same urban centres, generationally established blacks largely voiced the same complaints as whites about the behaviour, social and moral norms, and crime that the Southern blacks brought with them. Jews and Irish, Sowell also notes, had the same parallel experience and, ultimately, the same complaints about Eastern and Southern European Jews and Irish immigrants.

Multi-culturalism seeks to reduce all cultures to the same non-judgmental level and the same value. The key to understanding the government and intelligentsia-imposed phenomena is to grasp that it is the superior culture - the one that has produced science, technology, prosperity, and the arts - that is the culture that is allegedly the arbitrary, subjective, and imperialistic. By multi-culturalist anti-standards, an Alaskan totem pole is the aesthetic and spiritual equal as Michelangelo's David, a rap song loaded with obscenities and malevolence is the equal of a Rachmaninoff symphony, and a witch doctor using herbs and chants is the equal of a brain surgeon. One does not read or hear of the advocates of a superior culture proposing to bring black, Iraqi, Mexican, or Muslim culture up to the standards of the superior culture. It is always the reverse: the champions of the inferior culture using the superior culture as a measure to engulf and destroy. Discussing the attacks on college admission tests and other measures of intelligence and abilities, and answering the charge by the egalitarian intelligentsia that these tests are racially biased and do not take into account the failures (or an individual's "cultural" values) coming from invidious cultural and moral environments, Sowell makes a very important point: if one chooses to call tests that require the mastery of abstractions culturally biased, because some cultures put more emphasis on abstractions than others do, that raises the fundamental questions about what the tests are for. In a world where the ability to master abstractions is essential in mathematics, science and other endeavours, the measurement of that ability is not an arbitrary bias. A culture-free test might be appropriate in a culture-free society - but these are no such societies. I would argue that there are such cultures, the Islamic one being a notable instance, the current liberal, multi-cultural "culture" being another, with their mutual ends being to obliterate Western culture and civilization. In a chapter titled Race and Cosmic Justice, Sowell tackles the "social justice" argument that attempts to excuse what one could call reverse racism, that is, of blacks, Latinos, or even Muslims blaming a Western, secular society for all the purported discrimination, exclusionary policies, and other ills these groups claim victimhood of, and subsequently resorting to politics to "correct" the perceived injustices, or to violence. In this attack on reason and values, the government and the Progressive/liberal intelligentsia have become an invaluable ally on the side of the destroyers. Sowell distinguishes between external and internal influences that can cause individuals to join or remain in a group, especially if they have failed to make any progress in a purportedly racist society. Individuals who make that choice condemn themselves to continued failure, which simply perpetuates their conundrum and exacerbates their complaints and grievances. If the dogmas of multi-culturalism declare different cultures equally valid, and hence sacrosanct against efforts to change them, then these dogmas simply complete the sealing off of a vision from facts - and sealing off many people in lagging groups from the advances available from other cultures around them - leaving nothing but an agenda of resentment-building and crusades on the side of the angels against the forces of evil - however futile or even counterproductive these may turn out to be for those who are the ostensible beneficiaries of such moral melodramas. I highly recommend Sowell's book because it offers numerous insights into how the race problem has and has not been approached by our intellectual leaders. It largely has not been approached in the least rational manner except with agenda-governed fallacies and knee-jerk foibles guaranteed to perpetuate the problem our intellectuals supposedly wish to rectify. * Intellectuals and Race, by Thomas Sowell.
