INTRODUCTION
2nd National Conference on Physics and Emerging Sciences is a continuation of a regular scientific tradition of the Department of Physics, AIOU. The 1st National Conference held in April, 2013 proved to be a success as an event which provided the M.Phil. and Ph.D. scholars a platform not only to share their research work but also to learn about current research in Physics and other sciences from eminent scientists of the country. The 2nd National Conference will also provide an opportunity for the exchange of new research ideas and a basis for future collaborations. One of the aims of this conference is to bring together M.Phil. and Ph.D. research scholars. from around the country, so that they will have an opportunity to interact and discuss their research problems with other researchers and students.
