Message from the Director

Dear Glory Parents and Teachers, Greeting! A very warm welcome back to another new academic year 2013-2014, we believe that you all had a wonderful break and are ready to start the new challenging term now. Thank you very much for your kind and continuous support throughout the years. Listed below are some tips I would like to share with a hope to benefit all of us. 1. Discipline our beloved children to have the love of reading I want to quote Jacqueline Kennedy, wife of John F. Kennedy, who said, There are many little ways to enlarge your child's world. Love of books is the best of all. Reduce childrens hours of tech gadget use, like iPads, iPhones, iPods, Blackberries for example. Make sure that our childrens homework is completed on time. Practice storytelling with our children regularly, particularly for young students. This will widen their imagination and creativity. Refrain our children from watching soap operas that air late at night to guarantee enough sleeping hours and time dedicated to doing school work for our children. Maintain punctuality and responsibility by coming to school on time before flag line-up, along with leaving school at the designated time. Support our children consistently during their examination period, both mid-terms and finals.

For students above Primary 4, they should be trained to do housework or help out with the family business, so that they can be independent, along with being responsible, diligent and perseverant. Train a child in the way they should go, so that when they grow up they will not depart from it. (Proverbs 22:6) Always, at all times, bless your children with uplifting words such as Youre a good boy/girl. Im very happy to be your mom/dad. A Well-done job. Excellent! Youre amazing. I love you dearly. Thank you for making me a joyful mom/dad. Youre the best son/daughter a mother/father could ever hope to have. Im so proud of you. God bless you forever. Such a great boy/girl. Whats a smart student you are. Awesome! A Super boy/A Super girl.

Wishing all of us to enjoy being happy and successful parents. Sincerely, Orasa Esther Chaomuangbon School Director

History
Glory International School was founded by a group of Christian stake holders in the year of 2008 with the expressed purpose of investing and training of the young, the countrys most precious resource. It is the utmost dream of the school to inculcate and to guide them to make the right choices that will ultimately help them form sterling characters capable of withstanding the tests of time. We are very new operating on the British system and are trilingual offering Thai, Chinese and English. Presently, we are small; however, we intend to grow but at the same time mindful of the fact that quality comes first before quantity. Therefore, the molding and shaping of young minds is of paramount interest to us, so that God can be glorified. Philosophy Quality education does not happen by accident, it involves the consent of the will (mind) and is holistic, a harmonious development of the physical, mental, social, and spiritual God and man working together Mission To instill and to elicit from each student their unique potential fostered by a loving family and school environment making them useful and loving world citizens.
