Dear Brethren,

For your special prayers on our behalf and^^r tTie~16'rd^s Work we

thank you very much,. We also cease not to pray fervently for your portion of God*s abundant blessing and peace through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Your love for us and moving concern for the Lord's Work have been

for us rich sources of new life and spiritual vigor.

Since my return to

Guyana on Dec. 29, 1974 I vjas relentlessly pressed with one primary task; to find a place to worship in. The Con.f^regational Folks who allovred us use of their Church Building rent free since the 1973 Reggie Thomas Crusade, Satan stirred up saying we wanted to dispossess them of their property V7hich made it very hard and embarrassing on the Brethren I left worshipping there. As a matter of fact they wanted us to get out while I was in the

U.S. seeking financial aid to buy and build a place of worship and for

work fund.

In the midst of all this, Satan also told the Brethren I would

not return to Minister to them, creating so much confusion and discouragem-n"^*.

God be praised and I am back and I hrd to return expeditiously.; but it demanded more than this to reassure the Brethren; it called for con lincing action; vje had to find a place and begin making pews and rostrum,
pulpit and sign board tnaurjd.ngj into hundreds of dollars vihen we had onJy

I had to go ahead doing all this

Now for the first time we were able to put up our own si^i board tell ing about all the services etc. After much search the Lord got us a three flat house in one of the most strategic places in Georgetown, V/e vrorship on the middle flat and live above. Within a month the bottom flat, now
occupied by the owner vroiold be handed over to us as he leaves for Canada,

Rent .for the whole place is $200,00 (Uo) land space is 11,000 sq. ft. the
building can be remodeled to give suiL^' ls accommodations for Chapel, Class rooms, offices and Manse; ve-"/ similar to our orginal plan.

We have the first option to buy; but if some one came up with ready
cash to b\ay and our contract is up and we are unable to buy,, then we can not stop the sale. Brethren a property like this vjill have put the Lord^s Work on very sound footing. Pleaso help us buy this property now! VJe can

buy it for $35)000.00 (US). Please send your contribution for this project to Mr, Franklin D. Craig, 900 Irving Wick Dr. Heath,Ohio 430:^5Bro. Craig volunteered to come and build for us. Our reguld.r suppoi c please send to Mrs, Paul Daum, 444 Evans Rd. Marion, Ohio 43302

she be a blessing to the Giurch.

When I flew from I met a'gentleman from Georgetown on the same plane. As a result I am studying with him and he attends our services.
Please pray he yields.

Greetings from the South of this vast continent of America. Beloved in Christ,

Greetings of love and gratitude to all our sponsors, prayer part ners and Brethrcen in the Faith of Jesus Christ. Sixperlative thanks!

God be praised'I am able to write another month's report, short, but up to date and quite informative. Your concern and prayers for

Final.ly Brethren pray for us and in particular that when I return to the Doctor on July 2 the expected surgery will be found unnecessaey for me. With God all things are possible.

THE CHURCH OF CHRIST MISSION Dec. 1975

"A moment fly, A minute gone," A minute fly an hour is run Day has fled the night is here

Dust ilies a week, a month, a year."

One of the blessings of December is that it put everyone working harder. Prec?ing Church obligations on the Coventyne dictated our making addiciovial trips urgent. Business meetings >n.th the Congrc-gstionr^ on how to meet our instalment for the propeirfcy Leeds is tr;^^irig to buy. Unseasonal rains failed the rice crop that was done for that project; What to do? Blessings to a dear friend who mailed a check just in time to help us out of that precarious situtation.Bro. their help (Reggie Thomas Overseas Team) in early 1976.

undecided.

To

date

Unexpected developments at Leeds had to be handled. The Lord is workiiig it out. But in all these things there were so many things to encourage us in Georgetown. New families and faces appearing at our s-zr\rLces and helping we are praying for their full submission to
the Great Shepherd of the Flock,;

After preaching twice on Christmas Sunday then, got up early on Monday to drive 123 miles to Leeds on Church business, then tried to

pack all I could into Tuesday 30th, I drove back on Old years day to preach the Old years message. By 4:00 a.m. New Year's morning I
thought i t was all over.

The doctor put me on three days compolsory rest; and to make sure I obeyed orders the guy gave me some pills that allowed me to wake'
up only once in a while to reassure my family I was yet here.
know when last I had such sweet sleep!

Don*t

eyes are opening novj and so I try to rush off this belated re port. God has been and is rrpst gracious and magnanimous to us in 1975* It was a year oi" eventualities but you our loved one, all of you were used of God to tend that encouraging letter just at the right time.
At times we felt sure someone is praying for us. We felt able.

_ Thank you for- all the boxea of literature, clothing, your monthly or quarterly commitment to our financial support; surely it is cognisance of yoar sacrifice that spurs us on and on to selfish service. We are glad to be on the winning side and thought at times fortune seems to favour the side of the enemy in our heart of hearts we know the battle is already won "Not by might, not by power but
by my spirit saith the Lord".

Thanks again for your confidence reposed in us, and if some letters

are unanswered please be charitable; the mail system International is

of raan*s makir^g and therefore unfortunately unreliable at times; we
have lost several letters.

Fresh Courage, Peace, Prosperity to all in 1976.

In Christ, Bra. & Sis. London & Family

P.S,

One of our big problems is the shifting of our qualified youth

from one districk to another in search of jobs.
