1 )ASSAMESE KHARGOSH Rabbits are usually considered adorable pets by many, but that did not turn out

to be the case when I was having a meal in Assam. I happened to be at a continental restaurant in Guwahati which served cooked rabbit with exotic spices and a sugar essence which gave it a sweet smell that made it unique and made me love the dish and want to tell my friends about it because obviously, you never get to see a Khargosh on a regular menu.

2) FISH EGGS Pakoras? Koftas? I had never heard of it and I really couldnt figure out what it was when I saw it, but when I tasted it, it did not matter because it was so delicious. I happened to be at my cousins place where I got a taste of this unique food item which ultimately turned out to be Fish Eggs. Although it was just simple fish eggs cooked with a lot of spices, it neither looked like fish nor did it taste like one. It surely was something I would love to keep eating again and again.

3)BAMBOO SHOOT SOUP I tasted Bamboo Shoot Juice for the first time in my life in a little shack in Delhi Haat. The soup smelt inviting it had a tangy and poignant aroma about it. Visually, it was murky colored water with thin, sliced bamboo shoots floating atop. The best part of the experience was its taste - sour and spicy, in just the correct proportions.

4 )BHEJA FRY I tasted Bheja Fry in a restaurant in Mumbai for the first time in my life. The waiter described it as the goats brain fried into fritters . Even though the thought of it sent shivers down my spine, I decided to taste it. The dish tasted amazing and was served with pickled red onions and tomato masala on the side. It is one of the most exotic dishes that I have had till date. Shared by Syed Mohammad Aaly ,Class XII,Hamdard Public School

5) PAELLA
"Out of all the different dishes I've tastes in my life, this was one whose memory will stay with me for a long time. I could tell, when the dish arrived at the table, that it would be a fantastic meal. It looked amazing and I

could smell the aroma of the chicken, the spices and the rice. When I bit into it, I could taste the saffron, the bay leaves and oregano which had been added, and the rice was mildly caramelised at the bottom of the pan. I enjoyed it a lot and I think this is one Spanish dish which may be on it's way to becoming more popular with the youth."
