This motif can be worked with
a single color or by changing
colors. Changing yarn is done
at the beginning of the round,
while working the chain stitches.
Change yarn the same way you
do when working in rows back
and forth.

Close the round with a sl st in

the ch st from the beginning of
the round. There are 16 sc.

Make a chain of 4 sts, join in

the round with a sl st in the
first ch st.

Change colors for round 3,

ch 1 (= 1 sc) and ch 4.

Start rnd 1 with ch 1 (= 1 sc),

then sc 7 into the ring. Close
