1. DUNAFERR LUX-N COMPACT AND VALVE PANEL RADIATORS

The Dunaferr LUX-N panel radiator family is the result of a lot of experience in production and development.
It is an up-to-date and economical element of the hot water heating system with small water space, which makes
more flexible control possible.
The product is of excellent quality manufactured with the utilization of environmentally friendly materials and with the
most modern technology, and fully meets the requirements of our age.
The higher rate of radiant calorific output in comparison with traditional radiators provides a better feeling of heat
besides economical operation. The smaller constructional depth provides better economy in space of the given
premises and the simple surfaces ensure easy cleaning.
Large assortment
The wide assortment of sizes and types ensures meeting all heat demands in different ways. Dunaferr produces the
LUX-N radiator family in four heights (300, 500, 600, 900 mm) and in the length rate of 4003000 mm, in 100 mm
steps. The type assortment contains one-plated, two-plated and three-plated radiators.
There is a new type, the built-in-valve version, which provides hidden connection to the pipe network in floor boards
or in wall corners.
Pipe network connection
The connection consists of four internally-threaded pipe ends in the size of 1/2. All radiator types are produced in
built-in-valve version too with a connection on the right side with or without a suspension ear but with a traditional
holder and a possibility for a two-sided connection with an Oventrop valve insert on which a thermostat head can
be installed to adjust the required temperature of the premises to be heated. The distance between connections is
minimum 60 mm. All radiator types can be utilized in pumped hot water heating systems (with one or two pipes).
The material of the heating systems pipeline must be defined in agreement with the technical designer, as besides
steel- and copper pipes only plastic pipes that are not prone to oxygen diffusion can be used.
Important technical characteristics
Base material
The radiator body is made of cold-rolled, excellently weldable steel sheet, according to the specifications of EN 442
standard.
Heating medium
The maximum operating temperature is 110 C.
The small amount of water quantity used by the heating elements ensures a fine and fast control that leads to energy
saving besides reaching the required temperature of the premises.
Pressure
The maximum working pressure is 10 bar (test pressure is 13 bar).
Surface coating
Priming coating is by dipping that is followed by a high resistance powder enamel applied electrostatically and
stoved at 180 C.
Packaging
The radiators are provided with paper board edge protection, plastic corner protection, polystyrene ear protection
and packed in shrink foil.
The modern factory packaging makes it possible for the radiators to be protected from smaller damages and dirt
even after transportation and until the end of installation.
Quality assurance
The radiator plant manufactures its products according to the specifications of the ISO 9001 quality management
system.
Warranty
The factory guarantees the Dunaferr LUX-N radiators for 5 years in accordance with the conditions specified in the
Warranty Letter.

Installation
Installation is done with the suspension ears on the back of the radiators with the help of suspension elements that
can be bought in a separate unity pack.
The unity pack contains also a radiator end plug, a manual de-aerator fitting and spanner, wall plugs and screws.
Product certification
The number of the Construction Industrial Technical Permit issued by MI (Hungary) is: A-116/1997.
DIN CERTCO registration numbers: 6R0137-6R0148,
6R1034, 6R1035
The product is manufactured according to the EN 442 standard specifications.
The Dunaferr LUX-N steel sheet radiator won the Fair Grand Prize at the 1998 Industria Trade Fair.

2. DUNAFERR PLUSSZ FLAT PIPE RADIATORS AND

DUNAFERR PLUSSZ RADIUSZ BOWED PIPE RADIATORS
The pipe radiators are aesthetic heating elements of modern appearance. They are perfectly suitable for heating
bathrooms, toilets, kitchens and wardrobes.
Diverse functions
Bathroom-radiators are indoor heating elements and meet the specifications of hot water heating equipment. They
can also be used as a part of single-piped or double-piped heating systems. An electric heating patron that can be
installed later makes its operation independently from the central heating possible even out of season. The equipment, besides heating the inner space adjunctively provides a possibility for drying towels and bath-sheets too. It
can be cleaned easily. Its rounded pipe ends provide protection against injuries. Its modern appearance and design
meets the highest constructional demands.
Production, painting, packaging
The production of the pipe radiators is done by resistance welding. Their leakproofness and pressure-tightness are
checked at 9 bar effective pressure.
The radiator surface is unoiled and phosphatized before painting. The upper layer is a plastic painting applied by
electrostatic dusting then stoved at about 200 C. The so-obtained surface is hard and chemically harmless.
The pipe radiators are packed in corrugated paper boxes with the application of edge- and corner protectors. The
packaging provides full protection against hits and damages during transport.
Unique design
The heating elements are supplied exclusively in a finished enamelled quality in white colour, or depending on
the customers demand in RAL and sanitary colours. The top layer applied electrostatically and stoved on high
temperature ensures a long-lasting, silky coating and an aesthetic appearance.
Pipe network connection
Connection to the heating system is realised by four internally-threaded connectors of size G1/2. It can be applied
for operating pressures up to 6 bar.
Product certification
The products have the needed product certifications specified as admission conditions for the European Union
markets (DIN Geprft).
Warranty
The manufacturer guarantees the Dunaferr Plussz pipe radiators for 5 years in accordance with agreed conditions.
Certified management systems
The manufacturer has its quality management (ISO 9001) and environment management (ISO 14001) systems certified by a third party. These standards guarantee the reliability of planning, manufacturing and marketing processes, as well as the validation of the environmental protection aspects.

The pipe radiators are made of pressure resistant steel pipes with examined welded joints.
