As you start your essay asking for a definition of atheism, Ill tell you why I consider myself an atheist.

I dont believe in the God of the Bible. Thats the god Im going to refer in the text. I am not writing to prove that God doesnt exist, just to ask you about some arguments you use that do not seem reasonable to me. I am not a philosopher or anything, so I am sure I am wrong. You say there are no arguments coming close to, it doesnt matter if they come close or not, even being totally wrong, it is logically possible that God doesnt exist even if the arguments against him do not work. You should be an agnostic. First you talk about the burden of the proof. I dont know if it is possible to prove that something doesnt exist, but Im sure it is much easier to prove that something exists. If you ask me to do something much more difficult (or impossible) than what you can easily do, I will start to have doubts about your theory. You say there are no arguments coming close to showing the claim that the theist God does not exist, even so, you have written some books trying to discredit those arguments. Why the worry and pain? Talking about the New Atheists arguments against a good, caring theist God you say Will gaps in our understanding of these texts still exist? Will some of our questions remain unanswered? Yes and amen. What some people call arguments against the theistic god, you call gaps. I thought there were no good arguments, but at the same time you can deny them yet. I take the Bible as a kind of guide for life. I dont know if you agree. What is the use of a guide, the Bible, if we die without understanding it. You add But I believe that with patience, charity, and humility we can navigate these waters with greater skill. When???!!! When I die??? Millions had already died without navigating those waters. What for??? You cant prove Santa Claus does not exist, at least, you didnt prove it. You say we know where presents come from: parents. That doesnt mean Santa Claus doesnt exist, only proves Santa Claus doesnt give presents. According to that, we know God didnt create Adam and Eve the sixth day, so I suppose that means God doesnt exist or didnt create humans. The North Pole? We know there is no God up there, where people believed S/he was. Ok, for the shake of argument, lets think its It is not I dont have 100% proof. It is I dont have 1% proof. You just give incredible possibilities, no proof. Possibilities we see as weird when they come from other religions. If you can win every argument saying oh, it is an allegory, oh, only faith explains that, oh, the ways of God are inscrutable, oh, it is easier to prove there is nothing than to prove there is something, etc. and even so, you find gaps, that means

I started reading your book Is God a Moral Monster and you admit Unlike what To say that we dont have a book to follow, so eve
