Dear Entrepreneurs and all who support them, CRDF Global and its celebrated initiative, Global Innovation through Science and Technology (GIST), welcome you to the 3rd annual Global Entrepreneurship Summit presented by Entrepreneurial Ventures of Arabia. We are very proud to present a talented group of 30 aspiring young entrepreneurs who are finalists in the annual GIST Tech-I Competition. They join a rapidly-growing, global GIST community. In the past year alone, GIST connected over 80,000 entrepreneurs from the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, offering mentorship to 300 people and providing critical skills-training and funding opportunities to enable hundreds of early-stage ventures to move their start-ups forward. Through GIST, CRDF Global connects people who, though they may live across the globe, speak the same language people who believe in the power of entrepreneurship and the power of young and dynamic innovators to improve their communities, countries, and regions. It is no accident that the United Arab Emirates is graciously hosting the Summit this year. This is a country committed to growing entrepreneurship not only within its borders but throughout the region. .
