Dr. Ron Daniels President of the Institute of the Black World 21st Century on Daniels has also served as the Executive Director of the Center for Constitutional Rights and the Haiti Support Project. He was an independent candidate for President of the United States in 1992. He served as Executive Director of the National Rainbow Coalition in 1987 and Southern Regional Coordinator and Deputy Campaign Manager for the Jesse Jackson for President Campaign in 1988. He is a scholar-activist who has taught History, Political Science and Pan African Studies/Black Studies at various universities. His articles and essays also appear on the IBW website www.ibw21.org and www.northstarnews.com.

Dr. Akinyele Umoja Chair of the African American Studies Department at Georgia State Univ. kinyele Umoja, author of We Will Shoot Back: Arm Resistance in the Mississippi Freedom Movement, is an Associate Professor and department chair in the Department of African-American Studies at Georgia State University (GSU). He is a scholaractivist. Dr. Umoja has varied experiences as an educator. He has taught in secondary schools, alternative schools, and colleges and universities, as well as developed Afrikan-centered curriculum for public schools and community education programs. New York University Press published Umoja's recently authored book

Harrine Freeman CEO and owner of H.E. Freeman Enterprises arrine Freeman is a Financial Trainer and Financial Literacy Advocate. Her book How to Get Out of Debt helps people do just that. She is a guest speaker at regional and national churches and schools, organizations and Fortune 500 companies. She has provided credit repair, debt management and business credit seminars to various audiences. She has appeared in Market Watch, Forbes, Wall Street Journal, Essence Magazine, Bankrate.com, Black Enterprise, and more.

Dr. Scott Whitaker, ND, CNHP Naturopath & Wholistic Healthcare Consultant cott Whitaker is author of the book Medisin. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley in Civil Engineering, his Master of Business Administration from the Keller Graduate School of Management in St. Louis, Missouri, and his Doctorate of Naturopathy from the International School of Naturopathy in Los Altos, California. He is also a Certified Natural Health Professional and Iridologist.
