Procedure in Steps Standard parameters

1. Reading at 20mm from the blades axis and proceed in the horizontal line up to 40mm wide 2. Reading must be taken in both Air delivery must be direction till the velocity falls minimum 65m/min below 24m/min 3. Mutiply average velocity by area to get the total A.D

1. Measure the initial resistance(R1) of the winding at t1 using multimeter 2. Run the fan for long time till the temp becomes constant t2 < 85C for Class B 3. Measure the resistance(R2) of the winding using multimeter 4. Calculate t2 t2=R2/R1(t1+235)-235 262 1. Connect one terminal of the meter to live part and other to Body Value must be < 210A (rms)

1. Connect one terminal of the Tester to live part and other to The motor must withstand inaccessible metal part of motor such a high voltage if not 2. push the HT ON button the sample is rejected 3. Conduct the Test for 1min by setting the Stopwatch 1. Conncet the test probes B/W live & Body 2. Press & hold the TEST botton for 1min by setting the Stopwatch

Value must be > 2M

1. Apply 90% of the Rated voltage & start the fan at Minimum Speed 2. Then increase the Fan Speed to the maximum 3. Increase the Voltage to maximum rated voltage by adjusting the Transformer 4. Start the fan in high rated voltage

Test is conducted for 10times to conform whether the fan is starting at high(230V) and low(207V) Rated voltage

1. Measure the Input wattage with Test panel 2. Set the fan at highest speed along without oscillation 3. Place the sticker on the blade cap by removing the grill 4. take the reading through Tacho meter

1. Input < 10% Rated input 2. RPM value must be 10% of Decleared value 3. Power Factor > 0.9

1. Place the test finger in various The lamp in the apparatus parts of the fan with appreciable glows if there is a risk of force. electric shock 1.Place the sample inside the humidity chamber 2. After 48hrs immediately Conduct Insulation & H.V Test 3. H.V conducted at 80% standard voltage 1. No damage must be seen 2. IR > 2M 3. No Breakdown or Flash over
