September 9, 2013 Fridays closes could not confirm or deny cycle highs.

The yield on the US Treasury 10-Year note rose to new multi-year high at 3.007% on Friday with the 30-Year bond yield up to 3.905% versus its multi-year high at 3.940% set on August 22. The higher bond yield intensified the ValuEngine valuation warning with 75.9% of all stocks overvalued. The weekly chart for the 10-Year continues to show that the rise in yields is overdone with a 12x3x3 weekly slow stochastic reading of 85.74. Gold could not sustain gains above $1400 the Troy ounce last week and Fridays low was $1358.8, which was above the five-week modified moving average at $1358.2 with the 200-week simple moving average a resistance at $1471.8. The euro vs. the dollar ended last week below its five-week MMA at 1.3226 and its annual pivot at 1.3257 after a failed test of the 200-week SMA at 1.3368.
