Essay on Teamwork It was our holidays and we all were enjoying a party at my hou se.

As soldiers we got only fifteen days annually to rest. Suddenly my telephone rang; Waleed switched off the music player and I picked up the phone. It was fr om the colonel who immediately called us to out neighbouring city where the situ ation was critical. We hastened and packed our bags, loaded pistols and got in m y jeep and set on the way. During the journey we saw arson and heard gun firing. Our kits were prepared at the camp and as we reached there we were handed our s tuffs and we were told that in the city of Hyderabad, militants were killing the people and putting buildings on fire to overcome the government to fulfill thei r demands of releasing their captured men. As the leader of my group, I was orde red by the colonel to deploy and subdue the unrest. The reinforcements were on t he way and already 25 groups were in the city. Our group was of eight men. We qu ickly made a plan and triggered. Each of us had a machine gun, two pistols, four genades and refilling bullets. Accordung to the plan we were to attack from the back. It took 15 minutesto reach our destination. We got out of our jeep and mo ved on. Firing at the terrorists, we succeeded and one town was saved. Two of us remained there helping out the people and guarding the town from another attack . I was informed on radio that many soldiers had died and many were injured and two of the groups were captured as prisoners and we were to free them. They were in the centre of the city in a building that was guarded very well. Six of us m oved on to rescue our fellows. Reaching there we divided into two groups. One gr oup got in a nearby building and tried to kill the prison guards and succeeded, allowing the other group to enter the building. As they entered they gave us a s ignil that the coast was clear. Quickly we went to our fellows and moved on. We found six men guarding stairs. I threw a gernade at them that cleared to area. O n the other hand reinforcements had arrived and the locals collateral wit soldie rs against the terrorists. This was very helpful. Especially those people joined who wanted to take revenge of their family members who died. They were provided with guns by the army. At last we curbed the resistance and gutted the militant s. We rescued our fellows, captured many terrorists and there was to be no impun ity for them. The city was brought to rest and the soldiers who died were awarde d the medals of honour. Our teamwork and mutual cooperation finally made us acco mplish the mission.
