Human Casualties during Wars in the life time of Prophet Mohammad (peace be on to him) All praise to Allah and

l praise to Allah and His Mercy and Blessings be on Prophet Mohammad and his .family members and companions, after that If we listen to non Muslims commenting on numerous wars in which our prophet took part during the last ten years of his life in Madina, it would appear as if the entire Non .Muslim population of Arabia, including Jews and Christians were getting massacred There would be a long queue of Non Muslims brought to prophet, sitting on a high chair, and an executioner with naked sword standing right beside himevery one ."brought to him was given only two choices 'Islam or death Those who accepted Islam, saved their lives, otherwise they were killed right in front of prophet, who had a cruel sadistic smile on his face, watching all this, satisfied that "He has done what His Allah asked him to do". Cleanse the Holy Land of Arabia .from every type of Non Islamic worship This scene looks "very satisfying" and "very pleasing" to enemies of Islam, but there !!is one flaw in it, it is totally wrong Nothing like that ever happened during the life time of prophet (and never in Islamic .(history to the best of my knowledge If this would have been the case, number of Non Muslims who lost their lives would .be in many thousands if not in hundreds of thousands Arabs and Jews and Christians of Arabia of those days were not chicken hearted, they loved their religion and would have sacrificed their lives happily for their faith. This is very natural and whenever this scene is played in any country, the body count has .been very high It is very fortunate, that Islamic writers have preserved the number of casualties .during these battles. These figures are provided in the descriptions of wars of prophet But very few Islamic Scholars thought of compiling these figures and give a total count of human deaths. However when Western Writers on Islam, started raising objections as to "reign of terror" unleashed by our prophet on those hapless Pagans, Jews and Christians of Arabia, that Muslims writers took account of loss of human .lives during these battles and present true picture

One such effort I saw in the book "RAHMAT LIL ALAMEEN" by QADI SULAIMAN MANSOORPURI of India. In this book the learned Scholar has produced a table, giving respective strengths of two armies, name of Muslim commanders and number of casualties on both side and number of injured and those .takes as prisoners etc I present that table along with this monograph, so every one can have a look at it and .find out what is truth and what is made up stories :When we look at this table, we see some strange things, viz Total loss of lives (Both Muslim and non Muslims) during 10 years of warfare in .1 .actual hostilities in which prophet participated himself does not reach even 1000 And out of that 1000, it was a single event of Jews of BANI QURAIDAH where .2 the loss of human lives was 430, otherwise the total count would have come to about .Six hundred Numbers of Muslims killed and number of Non Muslims killed are not drastically .3 different from each other, meaning that there was no "general massacre" , otherwise the cost of lives on Non Muslims side would have been much higher (as we see in .(accounts of Jewish wars mentioned in OT books And that also shows Muslim Writers were not that much biased, otherwise they .4 would have "jacked up figures of Non Muslims casualties" and "toned down" Muslim casualties, to show brevity and invincibility of Muslim armies. In hand to hand combats, the figures are not that much different. This is another proof of accuracy .and sincerity of Muslim Writers I present this table for every one to study and comment, my own conclusion is "Our Prophet was the MOST PEACEFUL WARRIOR" that the world has ever seen or shall ever see. It was he and only he, who could eliminate Idol worship and paganism from Arabia and join them into a single nation, with so little loss of human lives, on "both sides No other was able to do it, no one is able to do it and no one shall ever be able to .repeat it till the end of world The Title "RAHMAT LIL ALAMEEN" (i.e. Mercy to the worlds) which Allah gave !!to him in Quran (Ch. 21, Verse 107) was totally and fully justified May Allah' peace and Mercy be on to His Chosen Prophet and Messenger .Mohammad Amen M.U.
