ABSTRACT

The purpose of this report is to literally act as a window to the projects undertaken as a part of the Internship with the Organization SOFTAGE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY LTD., which aims to define the factors that influence a client in consuming services like document management & cloud. The objective of the project was to find customer needs specifically in the IT sector and to find their expectation from SoftAge Information Technology. In this project customer who was taken under consideration were business houses which show their expertise in the market specifically related to SME sector in Delhi NCR. This project is done by meeting the relevant decision makers personally and the researcher interacted with them to enquire about all the necessary information which is to be used in this project. The methodology followed in this project is descriptive in nature. To get the response of the managers, staff, IT department and owners of reputed firms in Delhi NCR, appointment was taken and then the researcher headed to meet the decision makers and collected in valuable information to understand the market conditions for DMS & Cloud The project proved to be a great learning experience which taught the researcher that it is not only our offerings but also attitude, flexibility and innovation seconded by right amount of aggression which is important for business strategy.

PURPOSE OF STUDY

Purpose of Study

The main purpose of the report was to find those factors that will help SoftAge to approach the prospects in future. This project will provide SoftAge in providing solution to the problem that these prospects face at the time of outsourcing DMS and their expectations from SoftAge. This project will also provide SoftAge the market share of DMS & Cloud along with its competitors in this market. This project also provide information to SoftAge about the awareness of CloudDocu (cloud based document management) introduced by SoftAge in Indian market.. Overall this project will provide SoftAge to know what prospect thinks about DMS. This project will provide SoftAge that whether these prospects are ready to outsource document management to SoftAge and whether they would like to be associated with SoftAge in future or not. Significance of Study The study work gives us fair idea as to what factors influence the decision makers the most when it comes to outsourcing Document Management. The whole research gives indication to rethink on some marketing aspects like better promotional measures, awareness, etc. Since it is a necessity service, company should start making brand image, so that businesses can connect to the brand.
