Request for Company and organization Expression of Interest in China Brownfields Environmental Program and Conference

The International City/County Management Association China Center (ICMA China) is planning a series of Brownfields-related workshops, conferences and case study projects in China staring in November 2013 with a more formal Conference in spring of 2014 and continuing over several years. The program and related Conferences aim to facilitate business to business opportunities for firms engaged in all aspects of environmental cleanup technology, goods and services via direct contact with Chinese counterpart business and government entities. The new China 12th 5yr. Plan placed a major requirement and emphasis upon cleaning up contaminated land and water sites. National and local funding for cleanup programs makes the effort evermore a reality. Now is the time for businesses with expertise, technology, services, equipment and goods related to environmental cleanup to be in the Chinese market. We have the support of and are working with a variety of governments, associations, organizations and institutions, using grants and private resources to assist in establishing an ongoing series of business opportunities in China. To assist in the development of these programs and the accompanying grant request effort it is helpful to have expressions of interest from businesses and organizations. If you believe a China Brownfields Business to Business development program would be of interest and that participation could be an economic benefit we ask you to review and fill in relative sections of the following short questionnaire. You can also just send your contact information and we will provide additional information. We want businesses and organizations to have a direct say in the programs, presentations and workshops that will take place all across China so if you are manufacturing, consulting, technology, testing, law, investment firm, business or organization with interest or members in the environmental improvement area this is a program that should be of interest to you. For those with a strong interest in the program we have a business steering committee that will help in creating direct opportunities for presentations, demonstration, workshops, and case study application activities.
