Wipe Their Tears will be launching a “Points for Tears” Aeroplan fundraiser from June 19,
2009 to July 19, 2009. During this 30-day period, members can transfer points to Wipe Their
Tears AT NO COST. (The normal charge to transfer is $.02 per point or $.04 to buy.) There
is no minimum number required. Our goal is to raise 100,000 points – so every point counts!
All you have to do is complete the attached form and return a signed copy by fax (604.986-
8327) or mail to the address below. Please ensure the form is received by
July 19, 2009.
The President will be returning to Tanzania in August, and if sufficient points are raised, it
will mean over $2500 more for Africa. Two thousand five hundred dollars will go a long
way!
So – clear out those points you’re not using and support a very worthwhile cause!

The pooling of Aeroplan Miles in support of local charitable initiatives.
Aeroplan is glad to facilitate the transfer of miles to support WIPE THEIR TEARS.
Donated Miles will be accepted from June 19, 2009 to July 19, 2009.
These Miles will be used by the President to return to Tanzania in August 2009 for a
period of six to eight months. High priorities will be the supply of food, clothing,
mosquito nets, fishing equipment, shelter provisions and first aid/medical aid. And
of course, the digging of wells and fencing the land are also urgently required.

donated miles will be administered by Lorraine Paquette, President, and redeemed
for travel in support of WIPE THEIR TEARS.
Please note that in order to transfer Aeroplan Miles from one account to another, the legal
signature of the donor on this form is needed; an e-mail pledge will not be accepted.
