Please compare and contrast the three types of policies you've experienced based on the potential social, political and ethical issues involved. Does one policy fit all companies or are there some companies where one policy makes more sense than others and why? Does company size matter and why? Does the employee job role matter and why? Zero tolerance would wor at an any size company. The thing is with zero tolerance it some times makes it hard fo the company to do business with new suppliers or on line ordering. Active mnitoring als wold work for any company. You can still watch and follow employee's activitys online and make logs. Pecurement from online sources and other suppliers would be easier and it wold improve worker moral and productivity. Passive still would work for any company but th IT section of a company woud have to work hard to fight all the malicous sofware nd viruses. Employee's would abuse the system. Size of the company does not really matter do to the fact that all companiesl could use one of the three systems. Job role does and does not really matter because all emloyee' can or would usbse the system. Which network policy do you prefer? Active Monitoring How did the social, ethical, and/or political considerations impact your choice? Ethics are what played the deciding factor for me to choose a policy for this company. Social an political did not play as much as a role. Ethics in a business is very importat aspect in a company if a company has poor ethics it will not stay in business very long. Also with ethics it could make the company liable for any thing that the company does or does not do.
