CIRCULAR: The Directors/Heads of the University Departments, Principals of the affiliated Colleges, the Heads of the Recognized Institutions concerned are hereby informed that the recommendation made by the Committee of all Deans of various faculties at its meeting held on 23rd December, 2012 has been accepted by the Academic Council at its meeting held on 27th February, 2013 vide item No.4.72 and that in accordance therewith, the lateral transfer from Self Financing Courses to B.Com. is as per Appendix and that the same has been brought into force with immediate effect. IncaseoflateraltransferfromSelfFinancingCoursestoB.Com.

CourseslikeBMSandBAFthecreditsawardedtoasuccessfulstudentatSemesterI and Semester II of these courses is 42 i.e. 21+21. Similarly in case of BBI and BFM the credits awarded are 36 i.e. 18+18. Whereas in case of B.Com., 40 credits are awarded to a successful student at Semester I & Semester II taken together i.e 20+20.

In case of learner who has successfully completed FYBMS/FYBAF and is admitted to the Second year of the regular B.Com. Course i.e. S.Y.B.Com., the learner should undertake the study and the examinations for all the subjects at the SY and TY. The passing criterion and admission criterion to higher classes shall be applicableto such candidate.HoweverwhilepreparingthegradecardforSYtheperformanceofsucha learneratFCcourseinSemesterIIIorIVwhicheverislowershouldnotbeincludedin thefinalgradesheet.

IncaseofalearnermovesfromFYBMStoSYBAForfromFYBAFtoSYBMSthecredits andgradearecarriedforward.

In case of a learner who has failed in one / more courses at FYBMS/FYBAF and is admitted to the Second yearofthe regular B.Com. program or is admitted to SYBMS / SYBAF after studying FYBAF/FYBMS respectively will have to pass the subject(s)/course(s) failed at the BMS/BAF program under the parent program from theparentcollegeonly.

In case of a learner who successfully completes First year of the B.B.I./B.F.M. program and is admitted to the Second year of the regular B.Com. program, the learner should study the FC paper I of First Year at Semester I and at Semester II which carry two credits each, pass the courses and earn these 4 additional credits which are required to earn a total of 40 credits as done by a FYBCOM learner. The learner can earn the credits before the result of the learner for Sem. VI is declared failingwhichtheresultmaybekeptinabeyance.

In case of a learner who has failed in one / more courses at FYBBI/FYBFM and is admittedtotheSecondyearoftheregularB.Com.programorisadmittedtoSYBBI/ SYBFM after studying FYBFM/FYBBI respectively will have to pass the subject(s)/course(s) failed at the BBI/BFM program under the parent program from theparentcollegeonly. ****
