1.4 Notations to include a description of the cadastral datum and the rotation necessary for the cadastral or MGA94 bearing datum (as appropriate). Refer to Regulation 12(2), Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. Refer to Regulation 12(2), Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. The method of marking the perimeter boundaries of the parcel must be shown in the abstract. Any corners that are not marked should be described as such. Refer to Regulation 11(3), Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. If the survey is in or contiguous to a Proclaimed Survey Area, there is an additional requirement to directly connect to two coordinated PMs refer to Regulation 14(1), Survey Co-ordination Regulations 2004. PCMs must satisfy Regulation 8, Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. Refer also to Section 7.2.10 Survey Practice Handbook Part 2. If no coordinates are available, a number should not be assigned and it should simply be labelled as PCM in the abstract. 11.2 (a) MGA94 bearing datum accurate to at least 10 seconds of arc at the land under survey. 11.2 (b) Regulation 11(1)(b), Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005 requires the survey to be brought onto the MGA94 bearing datum. 12.2 Check that current SMES coordinates have been used and that the correct combined point and height scale factor is shown. Refer to page 2 of the Survey Practice Directive November 2001. Check that the EDM used was last calibrated no more than 12 months before the date of survey. Refer to Regulation 9, Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. Check that the marks placed are suitable and that additional marking to aid in the identification of boundary lines has been implemented where required. Refer to Regulation 7, Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005. Where practical, measure the locations of the buildings and compare with plan. Refer to Regulation 7(5), Surveying (Cadastral Surveys) Regulations 2005
