There is a unity that we must keep (v. 3) and there is a unity which we must seek (v. 13). The unity which we seek can only come or be the result of accepting the reality of "the unity of the Spirit" which we are encouraged to keep.
For several weeks now a group of interested leaders of various denominations have been meeting at the church for an hour of praise and prayer together. One of the leaders suggested that we celebrate the Lord's Supper together which we have done weekly. No binding decisions are made! We seek fellowship and praise to God that can be expressed transdenominationally. Pray for this
effort.
We have been asked, "What goes on at the Church?" We know about the teaching, preach
ing, etc. But what else do you do? We can say that there is not a day goes by that this building isn't being used. Some days are like a "ZOO" while other days are more calm.
We help other missionaries in transit to other countries. One such case Is Suely Freitas from
were able to get her on the next weeks' flight and are trying to get her baggage to her as soon as we can. She was one of many who have been helped through the "extra-curricular" minis try of our Church.
We encourage others to develop and use their talents. A new family with good musi cal ability have been aiding the music pro gram at the Rio do Mouro Church.

FURLOUGH PLANS
Does it seem possible that we have been here ten years? Furlough plans are being finalized. We leave Lisbon on the 21st of May and return
on the 1 st of October.

graduated in 1953.
They have 3 children: Ann, who along with her husband, serves with Go Ye Chapel in New York. David, serves in the army. He and his family are stationed in Fort Brag, NC. Mary Lou and her family are living in Michigan and are planning to move to Knoxville in June of 1992.
They will be returning to Portugal in November of this year. They have been on furlough since May of this year. They served as the resident missionary for 8 weeks of camp at Camp Allendale in Indiana. Dick is serving as the Johnson Bible College soccer coach during this season.
