Abstract
The paper has explored the production process of the original bamboo structure composite board wooden door made of Bambusa
rigida Keng with diameter of 2~6 cm based on its production principle through the structural design of the wooden door, which
contributes to the production and application of wooden doors theoretically. The results showed that the adoption of bamboo
segments in staggered arrangement, polyvinyl acetate as adhesive, and the cold pressing method are involved in the production of
the composite board wooden door with original bamboo structure, in which the selected pressure, required time and glue-spread
are 0.5 MPa, 12 hours and 190 g/m2, respectively. It can be concluded after the test that the door holds merit in quality, but
meanwhile sharing the drawback of significant thickness deviation, resulting from the curvature of bamboo segment curvature as
well as the uneven glue-spread.
