This evening, Doni takes a bath earlier. It is December the thirty first. He
wants to welcome the New Year in town square. At 08.00 p.m., Doni gets out. He
goes to the town square on foot. He goes there with Oky, Dani and Hanif. On
their way, they meet a lot of people.
Many people gather around the big clock. They are waiting for the New
Year. When the big clock shows 11.59 p.m., people start to count down. Finally,
the clock shows 12.00 a.m. People blow trumpets and say “Happy New Year!”
