But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know. That the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind? Does not the ear test words. And the mouth taste its food? Wisdom is with aged men, And with length of days, understanding.With Him are wisdom and strength, He has counsel and understanding. If He breaks a thing down, it cannot be rebuilt; If He imprisons a man, there can be no release." (Job 12: 7-14) He is Almighty God. He is in Charge of all. When an ordinary mortal is tried with power and authority, he is inflamed and inflated by foolishness into thinking that he is in charge. He forgets so soon, that the air he breathes, the water he drinks, the food he eats, the sun and the moon that provide him light, the sea, the land and the sky he travels through are all God's weapons of war. He created all and all are subject to Him. They are available to Him as messengers of peace and also as weapons of war. Egypt became an ancient time empire and Pharaoh, her king, a dreadful monster. He challenged the command of the Most High, and he was rebuked. The Most High tormented him serially, through ten of His minor servants of woes, but the recalcitrance in him bluffed those corrective measures of the Most High. By the wrathful breath of His nostrils, he split the tempestuous red sea, hypnotized Pharaoh's elite chariots into the depth of the sea and by the strike of His fingers, the great sea converged back, swallowed the ungodly and became the graveyard of Pharaoh's chariots. He is in charge. He must be acknowledged, feared and served. The 'Noahdic' generation of human race ignored the existence of God and cast aside the knowledge and fear of the Most High. They were raveling in their freewill and new found civilization, in complete disregard of the call of God for repentance. The Most High spoke in anger and the fountains of the great deep were broken up and the windows of heaven were opened: the Celestial waters in the canopy encircling the globe were dumped on the earth, and were joined with the terrestrial and subterranean waters underneath the earth. The torrential rain continued unabated for 40 days until the level of water rose above 17,000 feet high over the entire earth, to wipe off all living creatures human, beasts, fowl and even vegetations, but sparing the righteous household of Noah alone(Gen 7). He is in charge and all creatures are His weapons of war. He cautions with flood, avalanche of snow and winter blizzard. He warns with volcano eruptions, rebukes with hurricane and earthquakes and punishes with tsunamis. No disaster can occur without His command. Amos 3:4-6 The ancient cities of Sodom and Gomorrah took a plunge into a new shameful vogue of homosexuality. They ravished in violence and wickedness, totally ignoring God and His call to holiness. The Lord terminated their craze and released a torrential rain of brimstone and fire from heaven to reduce the entire cities to heap of ashes (Gen. 19:24). You may say that there is no longer rain of fire and brimstone, but there is rain of violence, terrorism and senseless wars that continue to

make desolate a number of homes, desertion of villages/town, and specter of fear hunting nations. He allows bad leaders to be installed, and would not prevent senseless wars, to plunder the treasuries of great nations and humble their economic and political arrogance. He is Almighty God of the Universe. He is in charge! Sennacherib, the great king of Assyria (701 BC) laid siege against Jerusalem with a royal force of 185,000 soldiers, he derided Hezekiah, the godly King of Judah and blasphemed the Holy one of Heaven, trusting on his military strength and his unbroken record of previous victories in battle. (2 Kings 19) There is no king saved by the multitude of a host, a mighty man is not delivered by much strength: Deliverance and Victory come only from God (Psm 33:16) The Sovereign God of the universe spoke and a single angel of God smote and slaughtered the entire 185,000 soldiers, sending the ungodly king back home to be slaughtered by his own children. God is in charge: Your spouse, your child, your siblings and friends/enemies are in His hands either to bless you or as weapons that can be used against your ungodliness. Be fearful! He is God. He created billions of human beings with uncommon finger prints and foot prints. He rebukes the stubborn waves of the sea and it is subdued into calmness, He brings out both hot and cold water from the same fountain of Rock. He decreed the boundaries of the mighty oceans and accorded dry land sovereignty for human habitation. He roars from His planetary watchtower that is anchored upon the circle of the earth (called Bermuda Triangle) ( Isaiah 40:21-22 ) and makes the bottom of the sea the graveyard of all trespassing ships and aircrafts. No craft can cross the circle without disappearing. He is the Almighty God, unsearchable in power, knowledge, understanding, wisdom and mystery. God is in charge! "Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of fury, and the expression on his face changed toward Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego. He spoke and commanded that they heat the furnace seven times more than it was usually heated. And he commanded certain mighty men of valor who were in his army to bind Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego, and cast them into the burning fiery furnace." (Daniel 3:19) The furnace was exceedingly hot that the flame slew the three mighty men that threw them into the furnace. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were, however, walking up and down the burning furnace un-hurt and un-scorched because Him that created His angels with flaming fire and storm was in the fire with them. The three Hebrews came out of the fire gallantly unscathed. The Most High rebuked the unrepentant and ungodly king, turned him into a beast and dispatched him into the wilderness to graze with animals for seven years. He is Almighty God. After spending seven years in the jungle with the beasts; "I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an eternal dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation." (Dan 4:34). The lions were seriously tensed up in furious anger, they had been deliberately starved for days so that their prey could be devoured within minutes. Yet, Daniel - the servant of God descended into the den only to be lavished with love and amazing hospitality by these hungry carnivores, because the Most High had taken over. Will you not surrender your life today to this Almighty Savior? (Dan. 6). "That they may know from the rising of the sun to its setting. That there is none besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other; I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things." There is no other Savior except God, through Jesus Christ. (Isa. 45:6-7) He is in charge! Accept Him into your life today and you will experience peace and joy.
