Learning About Living Things 1.0 Living Things and Non-Living Things Pupils should learn 1.1 to make observations and use these to group things into living things and non-living things.

3.0 Animals Pupils should learn 3.1 the names of different animals Names of animals (dog, cow, bird, fish,tiger, frog, snake, chicken, goat, lion, giraffe, cat, butterfly, rabbit) Names of different types of animals (wild animals, tame animals ) Sounds of animals (bird tweets, cow moos, snake hisses, frog croaks, duck quacks, cat meows) Animals movements ( flies, glides, jumps, swims, crawls,) look at pictures and name the different animals. Match animals to their names Grouping animals base on types Imitate animals sounds and movements
