Summer, 2013 Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen, MI Teaching Assistant Duties Include: Working closely with area faculty to schedule, monitor and supervise Junior and Intermediate practice hours and assisting with Junior and Intermediate lessons, classes and chamber music. Observing teaching methods and providing appropriate guidance to campers concerning practice habits and daily assignments. Act as a conduit for information between campers and area faculty. Assist with auditions.

Summers, 2009-2012 Idaho Repertory Theater (IRT), Moscow, ID Accompanist/Musical Director/Assistant Musical Director/Actor Duties Include: Teaching vocal lines to the performers, as well as writing/arranging pieces for Shakespeare and Contemporary Musical Theater. Assisting the Musical Director with managing the actors, as well as collaborating rehearsal schedules. Assisting the actors in audition circumstances with song choices, acting decisions, and basic musical understanding. Accompanying rehearsals and performances. Teaching Experience
2012-Present Lionel Hampton School of Music, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID Piano Instructor, Piano Pedagogy I and II Duties Include: Working with students at a variety of levels in different teaching settings, through the University of Idaho Music Preparatory Division. This includes supervised teaching of private students and group classes, at the beginning through late intermediate levels.
2011-2012 Lionel Hampton School of Music, University of Idaho, Moscow, ID Aural Skills Teaching Assistant Duties Included: Assisting Sean Butterfield, Miranda Wilson, and Leonard Garrison with the teaching of Aural Skills IV. This course required students to master advanced aural skills through dictations/sight singing in tonal/atonal settings. Students had daily quizzes, monthly tests, weekly sight singing audits, and worked with the Aural Skill program Macgamut. Subjects included Intervals, Chord Identifications, Scale Identifications, and Melodic Dictations, Harmonic Dictations, and Rhythmic Dictations. Teaching remedial aural skills lessons to students who were struggling with the coursework. Administering dictations at the piano. Grading tests/quizzes and submitting them into the grade book.
