In this day you will learn how to:

l Import DICOM data from CB/CT
l Visualize data in volumetric format
l Segment soft tissue, bone and teeth from the imported
DICOM data
l Perform 3D Cephalometric analysis and also create a custom
analysis
l Measure landmarks and add annotations to landmarks
l Map a 2D photo onto the soft tissue
l Evaluate occlusion to determine current bite movements
l Evaluate and virtually place TADs based on root positions,

l Customize image and record series names to match the
terminology and visits used in your practice
l Crop, color correct, and rotate images to create high quality
digital records
l Print individual images and composites at the highest quality
supported by your equipment
l Use the letter writing features of VistaDent integrated with
Microsoft® Word
l Trace an x-ray for cephalometric analysis
l Superimpose tracings from different records, treatment
objectives and norms
l Superimpose a tracing over the lateral image for VTO purposes
l Perform a Virtual Treatment Objective
lPerform both Orthodontic and Surgical movements
lPredict growth on both treated and untreated tracings
lUtilize CO/CR corrections
lCustomize algorithms used for more accurate predictions
lSave up to 35 unique treatments for comparisons of results
l Print tracings, superimpositions and treatment objectives

OrthoMation™ Training
One day of training is recommended .

In this day you will learn how to:

l Customize the background, colors and fonts used in
OrthoMation
l
Change the titles used in OrthoMation to match the terminology
used in your practice
l Customize the text or audio associated with any image or movie
saved in OrthoMation
l Customize the Quick Treatment Plan screen so you can create
treatment plans by simply clicking on patient problems
l Send home treatment plans by printing or integration with a web
based provider (TeleVox T-Link, Sesame, or PBHS)

l Integrate VistaDent images into the OrthoMation tree
l Add your own images of custom appliances or unique
treatments
l Utilize the Case Study feature to insert your own before and after
