VOTE OF THANKS

Honourable Vice Chancellor of ...............................eminent colleagues of the University and faculty, distinguished guests, Ladies and Gentlemen as we come close to 12th APG Conference, it is indeed a proud privilege for me to propose a hearty vote of thanks to all who have helped make this event such a success. At the outset, on behalf of Geography Department, organising committee and on my own behalf I would like to thank Prof..................................., for sparing his valuable time to grace the Inaugural function as Chief Guest. Despite his busy schedule, he could spare time for this occasion, which is engrossing for us to have this programme organized in this manner. We would like to thank Dr H. S. Mangat, Chief Patron APG for trusting on us and giving us opportunity to host an academic conference of this echelon. We are also thankful to Prof ADB Bajpai, Honourable Vice Chancellor and Patron of this Conference HPU Shimla for providing elderly guidance, financial support and thought provoking insights in organizing this event. I am sure without his cooperation; this event would not have acquired this level of success. I extend my heartfelt gratitude Prof R C Chandna for kindly agreeing to deliver the key note address. Sir, Thank you so much for speaking at our conference. Your presentation truly touched us all. On behalf of myself and my colleagues, I'd like to say your speech was dynamic and energizing and even though you were near the end of a busy three days, you got everyone listening and actively involved in what you were saying. It was fantastic and I can't tell you how much we appreciate you helping us finish our APG Conference on such a high note. After hearing you speak it is obvious why you are in such high demand as a keynote speaker. Thanks so much for helping us make our conference a huge success NDMA New Delhi: I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom. On behalf of APG: We would like to express our deep felt thanks to our Chief Guest, His Excellency, , for setting the tone of the event through his insightful inaugural address. We would also like to thank the for gracing the occasion. Our thanks also go out to Mr. , for his participation in the Chief Ministers Interactive Session. We thank, for his active support. We thank all the sponsors for supporting the event & all our exhibitors for making the exhibition a world class one. We thank the speakers who came from India & abroad and shared their relevant knowledge & precious time. We thank the delegates who have joined us at the event. We thank the Government of Himachal Pradesh, Police & Fire Departments and HP State Electricity Board for their whole-hearted support. We also thank the media for such an extensive coverage of the event. Last but not the least we thank for hosting the conference. The cooperation of the colleagues specially __________whole music faculty and the support of students specifically year deserves special mention here as they have been instrumental in making this programme a grand success.

I am also thankful to my Colleagues for their untiring cooperation and efforts at all the time during this event. __discharged their duties as a dedicated individual and was not wanting at any of the occasions during this time. I extend thanks to the entire non-teaching staff, print and electronic media for providing wider coverage of this event in their respective dailies. Last but not the least; I am thankful to the resource persons and the participants whose presence was invaluable during this event. It was not possible to organise such event without the presence of them.
