Mail Services Mailboxes for each student living on-campus are located in Medaille Hall. The combination was given to you when you received your keys. If you do not have a combination please come to the Student Affairs office. Students will receive their mail without delay if they have it addressed in the following manner: Student Name Fontbonne University, Campus Mailbox Number 6800 Wydown Blvd. St. Louis, MO 63105-3098 When a package arrives, a notice will be placed in your mailbox. The package may be picked up in the mailroom in Ryan Hall with a proper student I. D. Packages may be mailed from the mailroom if they are properly wrapped and addressed. There is a $5 pick up fee for UPS. All transactions must be in cash. Students living in our off campus facility, Cotta Hall , have direct delivery from the US Postal Service. Students at this residence hall will receive their mail if correspondence is addressed in the following way: Student Name Cotta Hall 6701 San Bonita, Apt. Number St. Louis, MO 63105-3061 When checking out of the residence hall, make sure you leave your forwarding address with the Residential Life Department ONLINE. Residence Hall Internet Wired Port Access The IT Department has reactivated a wired network in the dorm as a supplement to the wireless to provide an alternative connection to the internet. Use of the wired network is OPTIONAL. You may continue using the wireless network if it is performing well. Be aware of the following: 1. Each room has 1 data port labeled D followed by a number. In a single room, run network cable (at your expense) from port to your computer or network device. Do NOT use port marked V. (At Walmart online, a 10 ft. cable is about $4 including shipping.) 2. If in a shared room & both share the single wired port, purchase (at your expense) a network switch and 3 network cables. One cable goes from wall port to switch, the other 2 cables go to each computer/device. Good cable brands (Belkin, D-link, Linksys) can be purchased locally at Microcenter in Brentwood. 3. Turn off the wireless connection on device if using the wired port in your room. 4. Do NOT connect wireless routers to the wired network. Only a network switch should be used. 5. If the port in your room is not working, is damaged or becomes inoperable, repairs can ONLY be done during extended breaks (Winter or Spring Break). Room/Apartment Maintenance Problem 1. Report problem immediately. Fill out WORK ORDER REQUEST FORM in the Student Affairs office, 8 am-4:30 pm. 2. If there is an after-hours maintenance emergency in your room/ apartment in the evening or over a weekend, call Public Safety at 314-889-4596. Emergency repairs are given priority. 3. Be specific on the location and description of the problem so accurate repairs can be made. 4. Residents are financially responsible for repairs resulting from misuse of the facilities. 5. Cotta Hall Maintenance Problems - Call the Apartment Coordinator to report an after hours maintenance problem. During the day, report problem in the Student Affairs office.

Dont put anything directly in front of the unit. For the unit to operate properly, keep an 8 inch clearance at floor level to avoid condensation build up and poor air circulation. Dont put any items on the top of the unit. Covering the vent, even partially, can reduce or stop air flow. This is NOT a shelf. Do not run the AC unit fan on low or with the windows open. Low speed is for the heating mode. AC units running on low fan can cause freeze ups especially if there is something blocking the air flow. Resident Griffin Cup Guidelines

1. Resident students on a meal plan receive a Griffin Go Cup in their Welcome bag. The first cup is free. 2. Only drinks in the current Griffin Go Cup can be taken from the Ryan cafeteria and Griffin Grill. 3. You will be charged for the beverage if you use an improper drink container. To avoid this charge please bring your Griffin Go Cup. 3. The cost to replace a lost Griffin Go Cup is $10.00. Lost cups can be replaced by the Residential Life Office. 4. User must have a valid resident hall I.D. card when using the Go Cup.
