Objective: Understanding the processes of absorption and assimilation of digested food Learning Outcomes: At the end of the lesson, students should be able to: Explain the adaptive characteristic of the digestive system related to absorption Draw and label the structure of a villus Explain the process of absorption in the villus Describe the process of assimilation
