Abstract
In this paper, a new system modeling way in which the authors studied on the dynamic model of the super-heater steam
temperature established by means of the field data was proposed on the base of Hammerstein model in order to cope with the

deficiency both in the experimental and mechanism modeling. In addition, a Hammerstein model of super-heater steam
temperature in the disturbance of super-heater spray flow was analyzed by the realization of a set of field data. The simulation
results resulted from the model developed by another set of field data showed that there was an agreement between the variance of
the model output and the actual variance of steam temperature; and the model was able to prove the dynamic properties of superheater. The conclusion can be made throughout the paper that the proposed model holds the advantages on the accuracy,
universality and simplification of the controller design.
