EYE BALL CONTROL ROBOT Developer 5 Embedded systems 40 days

Description: A Human Computer Interface (HCI) system for controlling robots is designed here for more natural communication with the machines. The system presented here is a vision based system for detecting long voluntary eye blinks and interpretation of blink patterns for communication between man and machine. This project aims to present an algorithm that distinguishes true eye blinks from involuntary ones, detecting and tracking the desired facial features precisely, and fast enough to be applied in real time.

The left/right eye blinks fire left/right events. We are trying to implement this for the robot movement. The robot can be made to shoot at a target using our eye blinks and its movements are triggered using the nose tip movements. In our work we were trying to compensate people to have hands disabilities that prevent them from using the mouse by designing an application that uses facial features(nose tip and eyes) to interact with the computer. MODULES: EYE BALL CONTROL ROBOT is implemented with four modules as follows Face detection using nose tip and eyes Nose tip movement for the movement of mouse pointer(cursor) Eye blinks click events Hardware interface module
