Classic Whitetail Big Buck Contest.

There will be three grand prizes, one for each category: The first a Brand new Savage 20 Gauge Shotgun w/ Leopold Scope to this seasons Big Buck Gun Category Winner, second this seasons Big Buck Bow Category winner will receive a $600 Kames Sporting Goods Gift Card and lastly, this years Youth Category Big Buck will receive a $300 Kames Sporting Goods Gift Card.
Rules: 1. Dutchcraft Truss & Metal Inc. and Pole Barns Direct LLC. and all associated sponsors of this contest will not be held liable to any injuries that may occur in participating in this contest. Hunt at your own risk. 2. Deer must be a whitetail buck harvested during the general 2013 Ohio hunting season with valid license. 3. Entire body or cape must be brought to our Business Location during our regular business hours (M-F 8:00AM 5:00PM) to be scored (gross antler measurement) by us. If an antler is broken or detached, the separated portion does not count towards the total score. There will be no ties. 4. Bucks harvested within a deer-proof fence or any other confined areas are not eligible to enter contest. Bucks that were EVER kept inside a pen for breeding purposes or any other reason are NOT allowed. Bucks that are tagged or tattooed for breeding purposes are NOT allowed. Bucks cannot have been raised in a fenced-in area and released. 5. Contestants under the age of 18 at time of purchase of hunting license are only eligible to win the youth contest and may use a bow or gun. Adults 18 or over at the time of purchase of hunting license are only eligible for the bow and gun kill contests. You may register for both (bow and gun) but may only win one (one antlered deer per season Ohio bag limit). 6. This is a free contest, there is no registration fee. Contestants must be Ohio Residents and fill out a registration form at th least 7 days prior to harvest of deer. Submissions for the Bow Category will begin Sept. 28 , 2013. Youth submissions will rd th be accepted during the week directly following the weekend of Nov. 23 /24 2013 Youth Season. Gun Category nd th submissions will begin Dec 2 2013. All submissions will end promptly at 5:00pm on Dec. 10 2013. *NO EXCEPTIONS* All Ohio Wildlife and Ohio Hunting regulations apply. No registrations via telephone will be accepted. Entry form must be filled out completely to be considered as a winner of the contest. Entry forms available in store and on our website as a downloadable pdf. Valid entry by mailed form, or form turned in at store. 7. Bucks must be properly tagged by Ohio Law when brought in for measurement. Hunter must present valid hunting license when brought in for measurement. Contestants in the youth contest must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at the time of scoring. 8. Hunters attempting to cheat in the Deer Classic Whitetail Big Buck Contest or violating Hunting Laws in any way will be disqualified from the Contest and banned from reentry for a period of time to be determined by Dutchcraft Truss & Pole Barns Direct. All Decisions by made by the Contest Holders are final. 9. The scorer of this contest will be performed by a knowledgable employee of Dutchcraft Truss/Pole Barns Direct. Scoring will be performed as closely to the standards set forth by Boone & Crocket as possible. The scorer is not authorized by or in any affiliation with Boone & Crocket. As such all scoring is for the purposes of this contest only and is not meant to be an official score by any standard. All recorded scores are final and no consideration will be given in the event of any scoring dispute. Employees of Dutchcraft Truss/Pole Barns Direct and their immediate family members are prohibited from participating in this contest.
